  1. I decided to just re-install the creation kit when I realized I wouldn't actually lose anything if I did. So I did that, made sure I could load hearthfire and the other dlcs again, loaded them together with 2 existing mods and my mod and it fixed the problem :D thanks for trying to help though. If you want to know: I did everything exactly the same as I did when it didn't work, so I have no idea what went wrong the first time.
  2. Hi there, I'm trying to make markers visible in the CK. However, when I use the show/hide menu it won't work when I click on it. All the markers are greyed out and when I click on the Markers tickbox it briefly shows an x and then instantly disappears. I'm trying to show these markers because some objects are disappearing when I go in-game and load my mod. I read a post that tells me to show the markers to fix this.

  4. Ah I thought so. Too bad, I guess I'll have to make do with the voice acting I have in Skyrim.
  5. Hi there, Is there anyone that knows if it would be against bethesda's rules to implement voice files from oblivion to skyrim? I'm planning on editing these files so that they won't say the same thing as they do in oblivion, but some parts might be taken completely as they were originally. I have a feeling that this is against the rules, but is there anyone that knows more about these kinds of things that can either confirm or deny it? Thanks for any help :)
  6. Hi there, I'm trying to find all the npc's in the mod 'Interesting Npc's' but I have difficulty finding an orc named Ogdul. He is supposed to be at fort Greymoor when it is controlled by bandits, along with another npc named Cassius. I found Cassius but there is no sign of Ogdul. Both are supposed to be part of a quest named 'the good inside' according to info on the mod's website. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, I need to know the orc's story or if he has been removed from the mod so that I can make it compatible with my own mod. Fido
  7. Thanks for your help :) but I didn't need to extract them. Apparently I had to add the .bsa file to a line in the SkyrimEditor.ini file for them to load in the CK. But thanks anyway!
  8. Ah yes :D I remember doing the same for the DLC's. Thank you so much for your help!
  9. Hi, I'm having an issue with the CK. When I open the mod Expanded Towns and Cities in the creation kit by selecting the .esm and .esp files, the custom objects appear as large exclamation marks. I have no idea what I could be doing wrong. The mod works perfectly fine in my game and all the models and textures appear as they should so I'm a bit puzzled why they don't do this in the CK. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated :) Fido
  10. Thanks for the info! I can now find all the npc's and their houses. I have a new problem with the CK not showing textures or models from the mod, even though they are visible in my game. But I'll make a new topic for that :) thanks again! Fido
  11. Hi there, as the name of the topic suggests, I want to know how to see everything that a certain mod adds to skyrim. I wish to make a patch for this mod and add dialogue, background stories and such to the npc's this mod adds, as well as change the homes or locations that these npc's are situated in to fit their background stories. However, simply playing this mod does not provide me with enough of this information as I will possibly miss many of the npc's simply because I won't find them. Googling the names of these npc's or their locations does tell me if they're in the vanilla game or not, but it doesn't always tell me they are from this particular mod. (I have quite a few installed and simply playing this mod without any other mods will still take to much time and as I said I wouldn't find all the npc's.) Is there an easy way to do this? Perhaps to load the mod in the Creation Kit? If so please explain to me how this is done. Thanks a lot for all the help you can give me  Fido PS: not sure if it matters but the mod's name is Expanded Towns and Cities. I will be doing the same to more mods so I need to know how to do this for others as well.
