  1. If you are using this mod, you will need to craft the sword. It requires at least Steel smithing. It will tell you what components you need to forge it in the menu.
  2. Does your notebook have 2 GPU and NVidia Optimus? If so, Skyrim runs on the weaker card and not on your 360M. You have to manually set "skyrim.exe" to run on 360M. You can do this via nvidia control panel. He's got quad core.
  3. Thanks!!! That's exactly what I was looking for.
  4. I used to have a spell that reset facial expressions on companions (or any npc, I guess) to get rid of that weird grin. I've been searching for it, but can't remember what it was called. Help?
  5. Wow! That is a really great idea. I'm a CS newb, so I can't really offer you any suggestions. I just remembered one thing you might try (I saw this suggested when someone was asking about creating a transformation mod--where someone turns into something). You basically make the player character invisible and then place a model/npc that is synced with the player's movements. So, you need to make a script to render the player invisible and then use a player.setscale option (maybe) to change the player size to teeny-tiny so you don't have to worry about him/her bumping into objects. Then you you just place the actor/npc/whatever-you-want-to-call it you want to use as the temporary alter ego alongside it, synchronize its movement with the player's and you're set. Please forgive my ignorance of the proper terminology to use here. I wish I could remember where I saw the discussion so that I could refer you there. This is a really creative idea, so I hope you don't give up on it. Good luck!!
  6. Try lowering the CM companion's responsibility: "added an alternate esp file in which these companions have lower responsibility to allow them to fight 'good' NPCs. Beware that that could also make them get into trouble more easily." This is taken from the History section of the description for Asharas CM Partners. I hope this helps.
  7. What a coincidence--I added the SP hair pack last night! In your Oblivion Data folder, locate the folders containing the hair meshes and textures from Ren's Beauty Pack (I'd tell you what to look for specifically, but I can't access the PC I have Oblivion installed on at the moment). Next, open up TESCS and set moonshadow.esp as your active file (forget the ren beautypack.esp). Now, all you have to do is add the hairstyles using the same steps in the instructions you used for the SP hair pack. There is probably a better way to do this (maybe merging mods?), but I don't know how to do it. Hopefully, someone else will suggest a less time-consuming solution. Good luck!
