[Fallout NV Crash on startup. PLEASE HELP]

i guess i will bump this thread because i'm having the same exact problem as the poster above me....

long story short,my fallout crashes on startup...

I'm 180hours into the game and the next day it just refuses to play by crashing on startup...

And no,my mod load orders are fine thank you i checked it on FNVEdit..

And not even verifying the game cache or redownloading whole game from scratch fixes it...

Please help this poor soul in fixing his game... ;_;

Well i don't litter in all playthroughs anymore..back when i started playing this game i litter alot and it has been drastically slowing my game down...now i only put all my stuffs in lockers and stuff in lucky 38...even with that its slowing down over time is noticeable with more items in it...So i might want to find a mod that unloads the said item when i put it in a container or something...Do you know any that works like that?

I can only say that the possibilities of slowdowns are caused by the amount of items corresponding to the size of the save game...

I recently finished my game on my latest character and the end result was not a good one....

I knew that the battle at hoover dam are taxing but never thought that it was THAT demanding...20fps is really killing it...

Also...Alot of the modders put their items in goodsprings/Doc Mitchell's house..And now that place is also a realm of stuttering but once i get past it i works just fine...as i said...too much item onscreen does sh*t to the PC....And 4GB launcher + NVSR is always a good way to bump performance..Just be careful of what mods you install because sometimes some of it are just...Awesome in usage but real hard on the comp...

okay so i got Wrye Bash to work(thank god)...But now i had a new problem....Stutters...Very high amount of stuttering is happening for me...and before you recommend NVSR..I already used it and...it doesn't work for me...I know it works for others but why not me???

 

WHY????

 

Anyways...got any tips for me to solve this problem...I'm on last leg closing in towards Ulysses and and I'm not stopping....

Thinking out loud here...

 

I had some weirdness when I had WMXUE installed. Some Patches and or mods could not be used because they were not built for WMXUE. When i went back to have a look it now says WMXUE is ....

Obsolete and unsupported. Basically, ignore this unless you know you absolutely have to use it.

 

So i grabbed the latest file and installed that , it allowed me to install the other things that were saying Missing masters!

 

I only downloaded that like a month ago!...lol

 

Edit to add:

Have you used BOSS to sort your load order..

Don't ever use... Quick Save, Quick load, or any Auto saves from the game. They all can destroy your save!!

Have many, many, Hard Saves..

BOSS sort i did...though i adjusted abit for PN...

and does using CASM not counted as normal saves in the list?

Also WMXUE is working fine with me...Though some weapon do behave weirdly...Some of it had weird textures(possibly due to the mod)..Maybe im just better off reinstalling all of it...Also do you know how to get Wyre Bash to work?I can't use it for some reason...and yes i followed every steps that are instructed...Unless im missing something...

[My FNV game is very slow...]

As the topic title states above..My game has gotten very slow to the point the average FPS the game clocks is 20fps-15fps and if im lucky,30fps when it decides to...

i had plenty of mods installed..(around 160+)...and i'm quite the hoarder for in-game stuffs...maybe thats the reason why my game has gotten really slow...

also as a tidbit,i tested with new game and it was very smooth(60fps-50fps)...

 

if any of the masters here can guide me whats exactly wrong with my game...and maybe its because i was hoarding waay too much stuff...I'm intending to use the FNV Save Cleaner mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49396/?) but comments says that some item stored in the cabinets and stuff is gone....and i'm on work so i can't list the load order...but i'll edit the post when i'll come home...
