  1. THX for the info, I'll try these and I hope I find some slanted blocks. Much appreciated, at least it's a start, lol.THX again.
  2. Oh really, what are the names of those mods ????, are they stand alone or bundled mod ????, details details details, LOL. You would make my day for those answers, THX.
  3. Here's a mod ideal that nobody has done yet "Slanted Blocks". I have seen some outstanding talent out there in some of these mods, but, not one modder has made slanted blocks of any kind no concrete, wood, etc. etc. You would think that slanted blocks would be added by someone by now, who wouldn't want to make bridges, bridge houses or a settlement on bridges. I would think slanted pieces would be a must in building settlements, so on that note, could any modder out there that thinks they are outstanding enough can make this already. Me I can't make mods, but, if I could, slanted blocks would of been my first. Everybody knows how bad some of these terrains can be and/or when you place something there's a gap you can't hide or get rid of, slanted blocks would probably be good to have. THX.
  4. Every time I go to build in my settlements my game crashes so hard, that it locks up my computer bad enough to where pressing alt+f4 don't even work. I end up turning my computer off then on. I build for a half hour then bamm it happens every time now. I do have a program the shows ram use and I noticed when this crash happens it goes from 9% use to 94% use. I thought about what might be causing it, I just downloaded the new F4SE, but, I also just bought the two DLC's, even nexus/mods updated. This crashing crap never happened before, those are the only changes I did to the game, nothing else. So one of them is causing the crashes. So I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem, that's why I made this post. So if anyone or a dev got some news about this or a fix and/or are the going to patch this ???, please post it here, THX. No trolls or unintelligent folks can reply here, THX.

  6. THX for the info, i hope they both work, very much appreciated for the links, I put both of them in my mod list. I'm glad they do have these, I looked for something like these, but, didn't know what folks would call it. Also THX for the console command, I use the console alot, I just didn't know what to type. THX very much, very much apprecited, THX for the help : ) .
  7. To any modder that has the talent to do so, I have two mod ideals that would just make building settlements even better. If someone can make a mod to get rid of scrap, bushes, logs, rocks, and/or anything that will hinder the placement of things, that would just make my day. Even the things that are just on the outside of the build area too. I just hate when one log or something is right on the line and then I have to build to far into my property just to avoid it. Me I like every square inch I can get ( that means land, you perverts keep you mind out of the gutter, THX ), not that it matters, but, it matters to me, so, a mod like that would be very helpful. Now my second ideal, I'm surprised that nobody made one yet, a mod that gets rid of the stupid clipping crap, I have used the TCL command in the console but it doesn't seem to work. I get sick of looking at the gaps in my fences or whatever I use to make walls with. A mod that does this could be what is needed, I know there some smart folks out there that could do it, me I give credit to any modder. Me I love to see what folks can make and yes there are some talented folks out there. Modding is something I can't do, but, if I could I'd make both ideals here. So to whoever can do this, get er done. THX and much appreciated to whoever that can. I know it would make me smile while building : ) . Sorry no trolls or unintelligent folks reply here, THX.
  8. Due to the patch that just happened, -----> NO <----- mods work at all, period. The only ones working for me are the nude ones, go figure. So modders just a heads up, your stuff aint working and needs to be fixed. Now if someone out there has a fix already for this please post it here. THX.
  9. Nope easier way, put power armor next to gate hit the alarm and they will jump in it automatically. I know this works because i have 10 power suits, accidently left one near a gate, my settlement got attacked and one of my settlers jumped in the suit, it takes them a while to leave the suit too.
  10. NO mods work after patch except nude ones go figure.

  12. Oh ok very thx for the info and very much appreciated. It don't exist for FNV got it. Looks like either someone gotta make a mod for it or a file extension plugin. Just because I need to use it, it don't exist, figures, ROFL LOL. Bad Redd for trying to make it easy for yourself, shame (gets whipped by newspaper and sent to the corner) LOL. If only I had a brain, lol. I'm guessing eventually I'll figure out the right numbers (hopefully). Well thx again for the help : ) . <lock>
  13. I got it, the code is xx000adf to start the authors mod is 24 on my list so the number I type is 24000adf hit enter and it should work. I had to type it that way, sorry, I got it and I'm hoping that I got it right. This stuff is way to confusing. Hell I'll have to give it a try (fingers crossed). If it don't work I'm just going to ball up into a fetal position and start crying, LOL. Just kidding, ROFL, Now tell me if i got it right and then I'm off to type it in and see if it works. OK now I do know there is a help command to find the number, like in skyrim you hit ~ (tilde) then type ( exp= help"book" ) hit enter and what it will do is list every books name with id, then all you gotta do is look in the list to find the right id. Ok Now this is not skyrim, so what is the help command in fallout nv ????. Please type it so that way I can see how you did it ( I do mean step by step ). I get confused fast on this kind of stuff, damm whiskey and weed, lol. Then I'll hop in game and try it out to see if it works. Someone told me it takes to long to do it that way ,but, i don't care. Knowing that command helps out so much especially when you got a lot of mods. So thanks very very much to all you fellas for the help very much appreciated. Beleive me it made my day : ) . So if you know the command and/or how to type it please do so because I do know it exists and you have to be accurate or it don't work.
  14. Yeah I tried 00 and FF and it still didn't work at all. Then I tried oo and then I did different numbers like 010,012,013,014,016,02 (also many others) and 100 % nothing. Did not work no matter what. I didn't matter if I used numbers or letters. All I kept getting was that silly little error message that you get when you hit the wrong letter or number by mistake. Never could figure out how to use the help commands, it's suposssed be be something like Help "code id/form id" then hit enter ( at that point if it exists it usully gives a code that might match it or exact match), but, that don't work either. Might not exist on this game, but, it existed in skyrim. Been working on this for a week now and can't get it to work. Crazy thing is the author of the mod put, here is the code id/form id xx000adf and that's all you need. It also seems like once folks make mods the authors never return once in a while to check if someone left a comment (even if the mod is old). To bad there ain't a video or a mod that can figure that crap out for folks. Or show folks how to get the stupid code. Hey there's a ideal for some crazy modder out there, hahaha. Hell if I could figure out that mod making crap I'd do stuff myself, but, damm between weed and drinking ain't got much of a brain for it, LOL. Well thx fellas for the help anyways, much appreciated and there's got to be a answer out there.
  15. Hi got a quick question for anyone that knows the answer, Ok here's the question, if someone says the code id/Form ID is xx000adf then how the hell do you find the first two digits ???. I have tried a few different couple numbers and so far zip. So if any folks out there has the answer, many thx and much appreciated. Been trying to figure this out for awhile now and I'm tired of being lost/clueless about it. Please no trolls or unintelligent people welcome here. Also keep your smartass comments to yourself that ain't needed here either. Just need a quick answer will do and thx.
