  1. Hey all, I don't know much about making mods and such, but I was wondering if there was a way to make the slider on SKY UI a lil bigger? Maybe someone has done it already and I've missed it. Any response would be greatly appreciated!!!
  2. I started a new character right after and didnt use the alternate start-a new life mod and everything seemed to work fine. I was able to buy all the houses and land. As I had stated, I wasnt using update 1.9 and btw, I was using the unofficial skyrim patch. I havent tested another new character with the mod installed to see if that mod was the culprit.
  3. I've done all you've suggested...I am running "my home is your home" mod...and I think that dialogue belongs to that mod..I'll disable it after I dismiss my followers and see what happens...thx
  4. I've gone all the way thru to the part where you ride the dragon for the 1st time. What happens to me is that, I'm able to get onto the dragon, but then the dialogue "Let's talk about home...." shows up. I escape out of that and the dragon flies off leaving me as though I'm on the dragon flying, but I'm still on the ground. Any ideas about this bug?!?!
  5. I've a really weird problem goin on with my Skyrim. I started a new game ( my 5-6 play thru) and once becoming thane of Whiterun, I decided to buy Breezehome right away. BUT, there's no dialogue to buy the house and when I approached Lydia, she started using the "throw voice" shout at me. And her voice is really tinny, almost like a bullhorn. It had been awhile since I started a new game, so I thought it must have been coming from a mod. I uninstalled all my mods (about 200) and tried the game again, but got the same result. Soooo, the next thing I did was do a complete fresh install without any mods and I also didn't install any of the dlc's. The only thing installed in my FRESH game folder was Skyrim, SKSE, & the latest update 1.8.151.0.7. And guess what, even after starting a new player again, I still get the same results as before. I don't know what else I can do. I've even re-downloaded the update twice to make sure I got a clean D/L. I've searched relentlessly over the web and have found only 2 other people that have run into this glitch, and neither got a fix to correct this glitch. Any help with this will surely be appreciated. Thanks to anyone who responds.

  7. I have the exact same problem that you described. I too have found next to nothing on the web in regards to this bug. I've approached several skyrim chats and no one has even heard of the "bug". I decided to do a clean install without and mods installed and I still get this "bug". The clean install consisted of nothing more than installing skyrim with the latest update (1.8.151.0.7). Nothing else was installed (ie: no dawnguard or hearthfire and no mods), although I did add SKSE to the skyrim folder, and the play through was the same as when I had 200 mods installed. I'm thinking that it has something to do with the latest update. I sure would be grateful if someone could elaborate on this problem. Thx :) (update) ok, found out that my Dawnguard esm was somehow corrupt...seems to have fixed the prob by reinstalling that esm.
  8. Thanx for your help...unfortunately, I modfied my INI files as well and didnt save them, so, I'm outta luck...thankx again!
  9. hi everyone..right to the point..I saved my save games from a 32bit sys..I was using several mods...I chg'd to a 64bit new install, but cant get my 32bit saved games to work...when I try to load, the game closes to the desktop...problem is, I cant remember what mods I was using when I saved the 32 bit games..anyway I can "read" the ESS file of the saved games to see what mods I was using? any help would be GREATLY appreciated as I'd hate to lose my character THX!
