  1. Hmm, that would also explain why mod makers usually post screenshots when massive amount of lights are casted onto the character's faces
  2. Ok, so I went experimenting with different female facial mods at attempts at recreating those good looking girls mod makers show on their screenshots. I would say that it is successful to a point that my character looks in a way, similar to what the screenshots shows when light is facing them (meaning standing in front of a light source or facing toward the sun). Now, I noticed something really strange (or might be normal) that when I turn the characters away from the light and there is shadow casted on the faces, I noticed they look different than what they look like in front of the light. When they are facing the light, they look more innocent and happy (I have tried envision face and oriental races) while under the shade or in darkness, they look evil or tired (or old). It is just strange that the beauty of skyrim characters is only shown under bright lights. Now... is this problem only with me or is it just how skyrim is... Thank you.
  3. Definitely, I have the same rig and I can run it well on medium, though you might want to overclock a bit to run it better
  4. Hello, I have this mod compatibility? or maybe operating system glitch? or something that's a glitch (because it's not suppose to happen, I think...) Either ways, here is what happened... For my char, I use the mod custom races with CBBE and envision and I think also a file from Fountain of Youth. Since custom faces rather let you drag and drop the body features you want, I only applied the CBBE and envision customization to my own specific custom race char. Now the problem is that the eye and the eye socket of my char are out of sync, or eye depth has fail to work since... The first time, I did not have custom races and installed CBBE and envision directly. Changing the eye depth tilts the eyes but does not actually change the depth. Now this time, changing the eye depth does move the eyes back and forward, however, the eye socket does not move along with it, so if I move it out all the way, I would literally get an eye popping out of my char. The eye also looks to be a bit lower than the eye socket which gives my char a double eye lid effect but also covers the lower part of the iris by a bit. The strange thing is that with the same configuration on my laptop, some bit tweaked (I do not remember exactly which), my eyes work fine, it is perfect. I transferred the custom race settings to my desktop by copy and paste but it is still broken here. I am out of ideas which mod is breaking eye creation of my char because I know that on my laptop it works perfectly but my desktop, it is glitched Also my laptop runs windows 7 while my desktop runs windows XP. I don't know if this might be a DX 9/10 issue... I doubt it though Thank you
  5. Wait, but doing that does it remove character model mods on all other npcs? Also for mods like CBBE, how can I only make it to that race only? Or better yet remove it from all other races? And does that race look good by itself without any mod add on? If so then I can skip the painful part of figuring this out
  6. hmm, so for example I'll transfer everything from the female folder and move it to nordfemale folder? (since my char is a nord)... will that narrow it down to nords or will it only be my char?
  7. Long story short I downloaded about 20 different mods for character remodelling, the ones I am using are: Fountain of Youth, CBBE, and envision CBBE. Now a combination of them looks great however, the problem I am facing is that now all the female characters in skyrim looks well, heavily modded. I only want my own character to look modded and all the other characters look natural. I don't know if this will work or not but I am thinking of deleting all the other model templates within my skyrim/texture/actor except for female and others that only apply to my character only. Will that work or do I have to do a lot of other stuff to make it work? Thank you.
  8. is there an armor mod that adds angel wings or wings to the character? I can't seem to find one with the search button.
