  1. Hi, thanks for the reply.I just returned to playing skyrim and totally forgot about this thread (only found it through google). I tried out the codes above: But the quest still remains.. (even after saving and restarting the game)
  2. Thank you so much for this post, it's been a very long time since I last tried removing the effect, mine had the Glowing Eyes on the Feet. Your script worked! This was my old post at page 3 regarding the effect. This is post for the quoted fix above at page 13. I'll report back here it it reappears. Again, a million thanks to you enpinion  And also, thanks again to steve40 for this thread. ;D ;D ;D
  3. Found the fix in this thread. The culprit was the A Quality World Map mod (which does not appear on the Plugins list of the Nexus, you need to delete it from the Mods list. Then take note of how to completely delete the mod by following the instructions from the mod page. A Quality World Map Notably, you must manually delete these files: ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.0.0.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.0.32.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.0.-32.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.0.-64.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.32.0.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.-32.0.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.32.32.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.32.-32.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.-32.32.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.-32.-32.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.32.-64.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.-32.-64.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.-64.0.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.-64.32.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.-64.-32.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\tamriel.32.-64.-64.dds ..\Data\Textures\terrain\Tamriel\objects\tamriel.objects.dds ..\Data\Textures\sky\skyrimcloudlut.dds ..\Data\Meshes\sky\skyrimworldmapcloudbank.nif

My hunch is that it's probably coming from the INI settings.. I'll try looking into it and get back here if I find a solution. The College of Winterhold also tends to disappear on my game.. on on a couple of occasions, Skyrim would crash upon approaching the missing College.
  5. Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately those did not work on my case. I'll just ignore it then. ^_^ Cheers.
  6. Ran into the same problem, found the fix. Set this on your SkyrimPrefs.ini: [imagespace] bDoDepthOfField=1 (I haven't tested it inside dungeons yet... but it works when outside)
  7. I ran into a related problem, before I talked to Avrusa Sarethi, I was carrying 21 Jazbays.. then when I finally talked to her, the quest finished but it was not removed from the list.. right now it even says Find 20 Jazbay (21/20).. I was hoping if anyone knows how to remove it from the list? Using GetStage FreeFormSarethiFarm already gives me a value of 200.
  8. Same here, I got to this thread through google because I'm currently having the same problem. I'm also using USKP. Talking to the Jarl does not give me the option to ask for work. I will be skipping this for now and move on to other quests...
  9. @steve40: Thanks for the info, very insightful, I'll keep those in mind :) @SalazarDrago: I wanted to use the shout itself. But yeah, it would seem to be more ideal to just create a lesserpower instead.. I'll probably do it as an exercise to practice making mods. Thanks for the idea :) As of now, I just modified the original VoiceAuraWhisper#s, working like charm so far.
  10. I Duplicated the Aura Whisper shout and modified it so that it will color Friendly and Enemy NPCs differently (Much luck a Detect Life spell).. So far so good, the modification seems to be working OK. I just have a few concerns: Under Magic > Spell > Voice Power I duplicated the VoiceAuraWhisper# shouts so that my versions won't overwrite the originals. Then under Magic > Shout I replaced the 'Spell' entries with the new ones I created. But now, looking at the 'Use Info' of the original VoiceAuraWhisper# shouts, I can see that they are being used by the ff objects: FLST: WICastDragonBornShouts FLST: ShoutsFormListMy concern is that do I need to modify those lists or can I just leave them be since my modifications seems to be working so far? So far I've only tested it on my character with the first Word. I have yet to test the 2nd and 3rd words, I'm curious if my mod would show errors once I get the chance to learn the new words. If I seem to be overcomplicating things with this setup, I would go ahead now and just modify the original VoiceAuraWhisper#s instead :)
  11. I updated the first post with the mod link :)
  12. Still thanks to you I had to force myself to finally dive into the Creation Kit :) Will upload this up on the nexus for anyone interested.
  13. I took a dive at the Creation Kit, thanks to McclaudEagle for the hint on the Aura Whispers' IMOD. I disabled the 'Animatable' checkbox for the ISMOD and it now works! (This now sort of counts as my first mod!) Here's the file for anyone interested. http://www.sendspace.com/file/n4e7on
  14. Hi McclaudEagle, Thanks for the quick response! Unfortunately, it did not remove the red screen.. I tried placing it inside the data folder, activated it through the NMM (it is at the bottom of the list order).. ran the game and did the Aura Whisper shout.. but the red screen still appeard. I have Dawnguard/Hearthfire installed, no Dragonborn yet. The idea for this feature came from using ENB, whenever I have it enabled, I don't get the red screen effect upon using the Aura Whisper. I uninstalled my ENB because it was dropping too much of my framerate.
