  1. It's something that has been done before

I think all you need , is to select the mesh you want as the basic body mesh for the race

I remember a Skyrim mod that recreates an old game , where you play as a skeleton (I don't remember the name of the game , or the mod)

but that is one way to go , though there are probably other mods that let you play as a skeleton or something like that , that you can look at to see what they've done

Edit : found the mod I remembered

    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71021/

    Thank you!

No idea, actually, but if you try this, make sure you make an esp for it (EG _baz_DraugrEyes.esp) and remove the meshes only with the esp active. Then, with it as a listed mod in your load order, it should override the default eyes.

I don't know if you would have to remove the textures as well as the meshes. If you deleted just the textures, I suppose the eyes would have a blank purple/mauve colour. And you might have to do it for a lot of Draugr and maybe make other changes.

In fact, you might have to copy all the Draugr in the game into your esp and delete the eye textures from those copies. It's not something I have ever tried.

But what if I would just place the eye files from the folders in screenshots above in the different folder and try it out?

  3. Remember that race of frog-like creatures from Shivering Isles DLC that made more of an annoyance than a serious threat? Well, I just ran across of one of their statues that makes them way more serious and could inspire someone to make a mod with them (playable/enemy) in Skyrim.

  4. I remember seeing a sort of Sub-Zero armor out there, but it was used with vanilla resources and reminded me of when Spiderman was creating his costume and started out with a stupid-looking mask and looked more like a Lucha Libre wrestler. It's still good; but not on par with the games.

To be honest, I have no idea if there are any armors/weapons that are modeled/ported from the games. It's a cool idea, though, and I think it should be explored more by mod creators. There is a fresh market in Mortal Kombat amours. If you're open to other fighting game-style mods I can recommend the "ONI - Weapon, Armor, NPC" mod. It adds an NPC that is heavily inspired by Akuma/Oni from the Street Fighter series. It's good and the armor looks sweet (male only, to my knowledge), the weapon is OP, and the NPC is one of the toughest I have seen from a mod. He is a worthy opponent when you're level 70, 80, maybe even 90...

The Sub Zero armor I wrote about is propably the same thing you mentioned and to be honest my opinion of it was similliar to yours, thanks for the Oni mod, I don't know Street Fighter and I don't want to be OP but it looks really good!

  5. Are there any good mortal kombat mods? I've only seen Sub Zero armor and also Qan Chi, Scorpion, and Syzoth (Reptile) race mods. I would love to see any other mods for races, armors, followers, weaponry, powers, locations and maybe even quest mods. If anyone knows some good ones or plans on making one in the future, please respond - I'll be very glad.

  6. I tried Xp32 maximum skeleton on normal skyrim and for me it was incompatible with cbbe: every time I entered a new location all female npcs had black body bug, and then after reinstallling the cbbe the issue was fixed but only before I tranisted between locations.

  7. Is it straight up black body or does the body have black triangles that fade and appear on occasion... or you know what that's irrelevant - if that's the case there should be plenty of information about solving it on the web - It is a memory issue usually caused by not having enough video memory on your graphics card. If you have too high resolution body skin I'd suggest trying to compress it and remove (or compress...) mods that install too high resolution images (4k..., maybe even qhd).

If you have "high tech" enough card that should not be an issue but if the case is that you don't have -> remove mods which take too much video memory

There might be more to this, in which case you have to wait for someone more knowledgeable ;/

In a words of Todd Howard: ,, It just works". Turning the settings of cbbe from ,,ultra" to ,,high" fixed the issue entirely. All this talk about uncompability on other treads was really misleading. Thank you.

I'm experiencing black body bug with Celiente's beautiful body edition and I can't figure out what mod causes this incompability, and that's why I'm asking for help. In attached files I'll send lists of mods installed via: NMM (this list will be quite a mess becuase of author's name and installation dates), manually and via steam workshop. Mods were sorted by LOOT.

  10. I've tried this on dead enemies like forsworn to see if I could "tame" them into being a follower since they are such tenacious fighters, but no soap. I think you actually have to use the CK and change a lot of stuff like their faction, their character behaviors, and the like. No simple fix I don't think.

Yeah, I figured it out by creation kit, but you need to change the character's voice into one of the vanilla which Bethesda recorded the topic: ,,interested in me are you?" So, I just decided to marry Serana instead via mods. It's better that way and thank you for good advice even if after time!

  11. So, this one is really bad and I haven't experienced it before at any of my vampire lords characters. My argonian character's skin turned back from white to yellowish green at some point while playing. Curing and contracting it again from Serana didn't fix the problem. I then just loaded my previous save and tried to redo my progress but then I realised that my tail is already yellowish green while the rest of my body is normal vampire white. I don't have any mods that alter vampire or vampire lord appearence so I'm asking for help to retturn him to his normal state via commands or any other way.

PS: Does the mod race menu - race menu v3-4-5 can be the problem? I installed it only for mod: ,,Familliar faces" and created my character way before installing it.

  12. That's a long title but whatever. So, I resurrected via commands a corpse of a enemy from the mod which has combat voice lines and it's not considered monster but humanoid. Then I calmed it via commands and tried to make it follower and marriable by commands (don't ask why, irrelevant) wrapped up in one always working for me before bat. file from one of the more popular mods. It didn't work, so I tried to type them separately and still didn't work, so I tried using spell from ,,Amazing Follower Tweaks" which is supposed to make any NPC a follower managed by this mod. It worked but I got a satement that: ,,This character is already vanilla follower but you can make him managed by AFT". This propably means that the commands worked, but the conversation topics didn't show up from unknown reasons and that's why I can't make enemy normal follower or marriable (I tried disabling and enabling by the way). Can someone help me by providing commands or mods that can fix it? I tried a few ones already and it didn't worked.
