  1. So, thanks for you answer. So the reasons why I don't use the unofficial patches is that they are only available in English and my game is currently in German and it messes up 50% of the texts and descriptions. I'll defently try to disable the "Fog" mod and see if this fixes the issue. EDIT: So reinstalled Realistic Lighting Overhaul and it seems to work now. I still had a very old version of the mod and I had one of the weather plugins enabled which wasn't intended to work together with Climates of Tamriel. Thanks for your advice :)
  2. Hello everyone, so I was recently playing Skyrim again after a few weeks and I'm experiencing some weird texture problems. Look at the screenshot to see what I mean: This is my computer specs: AMD Phenom II X2 565 ~3,4 GHz8 GB RAMAMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB Graphics CardPlenty of free Disk SpaceThis is the Plugins I have enabled in their correct load order (BOSS did this without errors): Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm Dragoborn.esm Skyrim Project Optimization Climates of Tamriel HighResTexturePack01.esp HighResTexturePack02.esp HighResTexturePack03.esp RevampedExteriorFog.esp AOS.esp Remove Interior Fog VS.esp SDO Full-LOD - Giant Campfires.esp SDO Full-LOD - The Morthal Swamp Light.esp SDO Full-LOD - Waterfall Effects-esp SDO Full-LOD - Whiterun Tundra Creeks SkyUI.esp Realstic Lighting Overhaul - Dungeons.esp Realstic Lighting Overhaul - Dawnguard Interiors.esp Realstic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Exteriors.esp Realstic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Interiors.esp Realstic Lighting Overhaul - Minor Cities and Town Interiors.esp Realstic Lighting Overhaul - Weathers.esp Purewaters.esp AOS2_DGDB Patch.esp AOS2_CoT3_1_patch.esp BetterFireColors.esp (custom Plugin by myself)I also installed several texture mods: AOF HD Tree LOD Skyrim HD - 2K Textures - SHD Full A Quality World MapAs far as I know that's everything I installed (+ SKSE loader). I tried disabling most of them but I didn't manage to fix the problem. However, I haven't tried doing the clean install and reinstalling everything yet, but maybe you know what could cause the issue. Thanks for reading :)
  3. I mean, as far as I know SMAA does smooth 1 pixel edges just fine but it doesn't work for 3x3 pixel squares. I also can't really imagine how it could improve image quality if the image gets renderd that bad.
  4. Just to clarify things: If you take a closer look at the image you can see that the jagged terrain is sometime 3x3 pixel blocks which SMAA won't smooth, because it isn't a transperancy issue. It rather seems to be a problem with the rendering by something unknown by myself. I enabled SMAA but it like I expected, it didn't help because the pixelation is really big (not just jagged edges). It's like applying some weak censoring pixelation filter (ofc not intended) over some textures and I don't know how to fix it. I think there is also the method of Downsampling available for AMD users through registry tweaks but I'm sure it won't help.
  5. Thanks for your advice but disabling MSAA doesn't fix it. I might reconsider using SMAA later but (even though it doesn't work in the inventory) MSAA still beats post AA in quality even though there is a big performance drop (wasn't a big issue on my gfx card though). The thing is that post AA usually lacks a lot of jitter correction (TXAA might be better here) and will still look pretty ugly on very close iron bars or something like that and that's why I didn't use it.
  6. Hi everyone, I don't know when I originally got the issue but I was having some weird problems (I think since patch 1.9) where clouds will cause weird pixelation issue of the terrain behind which looks really ugly. Here's an example: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/28573353/temp/TESV%202014-03-14%2013-01-53-29.png I used a bunch of plugins and mods listed below. However, disabling all of these didn't help fixing the problem: all official Skyrim DLCs (incl. High Res)Skyrim Project OptimizationClimates of TamrielRealistic Lighting OverhaulRemove Interior FogRevamped Exterior FogPurewatersAudio OverhaulSDO Full LODSKSE LauncherSkyUISweetFXAnother thing I have installed is the Skyrim 2K HD texturepack. I couldn't disable it yet because I added it to the game before I started using the NMM and I don't know how to uninstall it. Yeah so however I have no clue what's causing the problems and I'd really like this to be fixed. I'm running on 4xMSAA. Disabling MSAA didn't fix it. PS: Here are my computer specs: AMD Phenom II X2 565 BE ~3,4 GHz 8 GB DDR3-1333 memory Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 2GB edition So therefore I think I can exclude the "too low hardware specs" theory.
