  1. Just letting you know that I think it's a problem between Static Mesh Improvement and Skyrim HD Towns and/or Landscapes. I uninstalled Static Mesh Improvement to fix it. For now...
  2. I have the same issue. All my mods are arranged by BOSS and it's not even in the same spot every time. Once it was at the fork in the road near Solitude and now at the docks... I hate when stuff like this happens.

I made two custom followers, and made an .esm and an .esp I created them then placed them in Riverwood Inn saved the .esp then used TesVsnip and made that into an .esm Then loaded the .esm saved it and exported the face data. Then I played my game with both .esm and .esp loaded and one of my followers vanished. I looked her up via console and the game would tell me there were two instances of my followers. So I loaded just the .esm since it was the one with the face data. They showed up (though one of them showed up twice in the inn) and I recruited them again and went on my merry way Later I saved. Now I went to load the save days later and they're gone. Only Lydia remains. I am using the Increased Follower Limit mod. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?! Edit: Found them back in Riverwood Inn, wearing the custom armor I gave them so they didn't respawn. But why were they back in the inn?
  4. I think that's the upper eye socket color. I fixed mine by making it invisible and custom color.
  5. Thank you. Here's the problem. When I only open the .esm the NPCs actually don't show up in the same form as in the .esp They are one generic character and copies of the first one, whereas in the .esp they are all different. Does this also include changes like voice type and name? Also, after doing the CTRL+F4, do I also save the modified esp?
  6. Hi guys, got a question that hopefully won't be too dumb. :) I want to modify followers from a downloaded mod. Basically just change their faces, hair and voices. And in one case, the name. The mod uses some custom clothing for them though, and so I have two issues when I save the esp file: 1. The dreaded face-tint bug (I could not find a simple description of how to avoid it - only complicated guides when you're making an NPC from scratch which is not my case) 2. They show up naked in-game. Can someone please help a frustrated gamer out (I'm up at 4.40am because I've been trying to figure it out on my own since 11pm lol) The mod has an .esm file and a .esp file but they don't have identical stuff. When I loaded the .esm file by itself all the followers were some weird generic NPC.
  7. Hi guys I have a huge annoyance (like many others) - Skyrim has lag spikes. None of the fixes I found online have worked so far. I have an AMD Phenom II X4 3.2Ghz GeForce GTX 460 1GB 192bit version 8GB RAM I feel like I should be able to play it on High (even Ultra) settings without the lag, just different FPS. It happens especially when I move the mouse around to look at the scenery (I play 3rd person) But sometimes even when just running in straight line. FPS drops suddenly, it's like a hiccup. Then it continues fine. I tried it just for kicks on Low settings and it didn't have the problem, but I just can't believe high settings would cause such lag spikes, I feel like my system is pretty decent. I'm going crazy editing the inis back and forth. And I see vids on YouTube of ppl with similar builds and they have no lag in the videos whatsoever. The reason why I started a new topic with this problem that's common among many is that I'm hoping that maybe someone with a similar build can show me their ini's? If they don't have lag spikes that is. :) Or if someone knows what is the main problem?
