    Blood Stuck On Screen

    Hi all! I've recently been getting back into Fallout 4 and therefore have been updooting some of the old mods. This are going pretty alright except for the fact that 3 of the mods don't seem to be working all that well.

     

    The problem mods being:

    Loot Detector (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4380?tab=description)

     

    and

    Gas Masks of the Wasteland (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17491/)

     

    The specific problems I've been having are minute but pretty annoying. First off, after updating Loot Detector, it seems as if my MCM mod configuration changes for it wont save, it keeps resetting to default! On top of that, I get a specific error every time I load up a save that says "Loot Detector ERROR! Shutting Down", and I have to manually reboot the mod via it's in game holotape.

    For Gas Masks of the Wasteland, the mod seems to be nonfunctional, and I can't find a reason as to why! First of all, rad storms no longer require me to use a Gas Mask, and I don't receive extra rads.

    For some other reason, I've been having this issue whereas Blood decals on the First Person screen wont go away unless I open and close my Pip-Boy/Pause the game, which I think could either be Gas Masks of the Wasteland, or because I also updated DEF_UI to version 1.5.1.     I wish I could give you guys more, I'm still trying to get use to Vortex, and I'm not sure how to post my load order if Vortex has that new ability.

    Weird crash when approaching the Rift Imperial Camp?

    Hey I've been crashing at the same spot when coming from the east side beside ruins of bthalft... at first of thought it was deadly bosses of skyrim cause it replaces it with dragonborn shrine...then Skyland...then populated civil war...but none of those are the root of the problem...do u have a year of those mods installed?

    No I don't have any of these mods installed, I'm waiting for them to be ported over to SSE.

    A Little Help with FOMM?

    NMM or FOMM?

    I can't seem to be able to use the Package Manager because it says "Something bad has happened." I had this issue before with FOMM years ago, which I think is the main reason why I switched to NMM. What's going on?

     

    FOMM, Fallout Mod Manager. Why would you use anything else for a Fallout game?

     

    When you go "Package Manager", you will be asked to signin. DON'T. It hasn't worked in years. Instead, go to "Settings" and make sure "Check for new FOMod versions" does not have a check mark to the left. If it does, un-check it.

    You will not be able to proceed with whatever you want to do without a crash.

     

     

     

    I've also found a re-uploaded version of FOMM, I think it was "Forked" or something? Is this a better version?

     

    Edit: No matter what I can't see to add one mod without FOMM Coming up with an error, I checked also, check for new versions is off....

    I can't tolerate it anymore, it seems my Nexus Mod Manager crashes ever 2 to 3 mods added, can anyone decypt this giant log and tell me what I screwed up now? If more info is needed, I'll deliver.

    BOSS not detecting Skyrim

    Happened to me, Start the game through steam first so the small window pops up asking for Options, Play Game, Data Files, Etc, It should work then, this happens usually when you change the name or directory of your Skyrim folder under Steamapps. It happens to me usually everytime I make a backup of my entire game.

    Okay, So I'm doing Battle for Whiterun on the Stormcloaks sides, I cannot for the life of me find a solution, I've been searching the interwebs but I don't get jack. My game just all of a sudden BOOP! Stops, picture perfect. The music continues but everything is locked up. The Task Manager says it's not responding and I need to end the Process.

     

    If someone could tell me how I can easily post my Mod Load order, then I will. A few notes however.

     

    I DO NOT Have WARZONE - Civil Unrest mod.

    I already de-activated all recent graphical enhancing mods.

    It seems to CDT when I use a Bow (I doubt this is the issue, as I'm an archer.)

    I am kinda unwilling to de-activate ALL OF my mods as it is possible my game would cease to work if some (important) ones are removed.

     

    I don't want to stop playing one of my favorite games, Please some aid here! :psyduck: .

    FNVEdit Unexpected Subrecord?

    That's the funny part. It worked before. And FNVEdit goes RIGHT Through the process without an Error popup regardless of the Errors by EVE. This is irritating. I recently installed more Perks for DLC's but I doubt that'd do anything. When I deactivated the plugins it still failed. And what daunts me is that fact that it does NOT Instant-Crash. It loads up. Shows Slide 2-3 and THEN Crashes..

    u don´t need edit the error subrecords...

     

    fnvedit haz sometimes trouble with some, its a false positive,

     

    but is ur game startign now or keeps crashing at start? if is crashing then post pls your loadorder.

     

     

    It does crash, Not instantly, A minute or so after the Corporation Intros, My Load Order should be.. Anyway I can post my Load Order without having to type it ALL OUT Again? There so much..

    Take those affected records and copy them into a blank file, then delete the original ones, and finally copy them back into the original. FNVEdit will strip the out of order subrecords or arrange them as they should be intended. Keep backup of file in case those subrecords are important and are accidentally stripped in the process.

    is a false error from eve with fnvedit.

     

    u need exclude eve and patches from the merged patch at first. and then u can merged eve manually.

     

    do u have the plugins installed where the eve patches for?
