As someone who mainly just used the Steam Workshop before, I have come here to get a better modding experience. However, I'm having a bit of trouble with NMM. It says I need to download a network framework update fro my OS, Windows 8.1, and I don't know which file to download. If anyone knows about this, or knows any things I should be told about, please let me know.

I'm new to modding, and I'm wondering about something. I tried clicking on the option to download a new mod, but other than making the sides of the screen become darker, it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I don't get any pop up at the bottom on the screen, showing the files are being downloaded. I can't download it manually since I don't think I'm skilled enough, and I don't want to mess up my game. Any suggestions about what to do?
