Hello, having just played some AC3, i got hungry for more killmoves in skyrim. There are multiple mods out there. The most popular being the "Dance Of Death". However, this mod uses perks, and those are heavily altered by SkyRe, which I use. Are they compatible? Then there is a killmove mod with the most variety of killmoves (as far as I can tell). They have 39+ Moves for each weapon, but i heard it is unstable and it seems to be less professional. This one is called "More Killmoves for all Weapons". Since this one does not rely on perks, it might be more compatible. However, i like the system of "DoD" that you have to level up in order to look good ;) is Dance Of Death compatible with SkyRe? If not, which Killmove-Mod (there are more like "advanced killmoves" etc. woould you recommend that works with SkyRe? Thank you

Ok, thats sounds good. I think i will save the dungeon for later and join the companions for now.

other question: Two handed weapons are WAAAAY to slow. I hit maybe once every 1.5 seconds. Thats not realistic. Im not wielding a hammer! Will this get better soon? I want to fight like a samurai, or the people in Game Of Thrones, where they can actually do something quickly with the sword. Like this, it takes so long for the animation to end that blocking is WAY too hard, since you cannot interrupt the hitting motion. For battlestaffs: Have they adjusted hitting-animations? Attack-speed?

I used the Alternate Start mod, where you can choose where to start. I chose Windhelm because i wanted to join the stormcloaks right away to earn my first bread. But the Yarl isnt there, yet. I think it would be a good idea to joina guild. SInce im also using primary-needs and frostfall mods, i could use the bed and the food. Thank you for your information.

Hello, I started a new playthrough with SkyRe and im struggling.... 1. I started in windhelm, and landed in the tomb where you meet the guy that wants me to kill a necromancer in the tomb. The first part of the dungeon was manageable, but i got to a point now where there are about 8 draugrs in one small chamber right before the end of the dungeon. Im only level 2, and blocking is almost useless atm (still get 1/4 of my health taken away) and since im focussing on two-handed, its really hard to even block anything because my guy moves so slowly. I realise that this quest is too hard for me ATM (which is realistic considering im a bad warrior in skyrim, so i cant fight tons of enemies), but i have no idea how else i could level up until im good enough to do these quests. This is a very basic one. how do i know what quests are manageable and which are not? Im really confused ATM. 2. The Heavy-Weapons tree and the description state that you can now use battlestaffs. Let alone the last perk, hitting multiple enemies is amazing, and i always wanted to use battlestaffs in skyrim. But so far i couldnt buy/find one anywhere. How do i obtain the new weapons? So far ive only seen vanilla-style weapons. Thank you

Hello, hardly any creature in the DC Wasteland is as hard to kill for me as the melee supermutants. (I use FWE). They usually throw a grenade at you, which prevents you from killing them when they run at you because you have to run away from the grenade first. Then, i take out my shotgun, but im unable to prvent getting hit at least once with the hammer. with FWE, this means 3 melee-SM, and im dead. (Happens to me all the time at jefferson capitol). Whats a good strategy against them? Im a small gun sniper, so i dont have a lot of defense with my leather armor. Usually, i take cover from bullets and deal out quick headshots, but against the melees, you cant since they move and they come at you-> no camping allowed. What should i do? Whats the best strategy against them? What are your tricks? Thank you

Can Do The-Pitt Arena with FWE (RAD-Poison deadly)
schaine replied to schaine's topic in Fallout 3's Discussion
Well, anyways i fixed it by simply changing the RAD-Rate to vanilla in the FWE-Manager. That helped. -
Hello, i have a problem with FAllout 3 FWE+The Pitt. I playeed through it before, but now theres a "realistic" problem. I cant surivive the Arena fights because i always die of RAD-poisoning. I even took Rad-X and Rad-Away beforehand, and i still die after about 15 secs. Even if i kill all the enemies (first fight) and then try to run towards the Exit, i die instantly because of deadly RAD-poison. In the vanilla, i didnt even get the first stage of RAD-poison. What should i do now? Im sure people already finished the Pitt with FWE. And i have not found a similar question on the internet, making me think there has to be a different reason. I drank a lot of water about 5 mins before entering the arena. Is that the reason? But i took rad away, and it didnt say i have Rad-poisoning. Any advice help, thank you!

Modding INtroduced "Cheat"-weapons. Now i cant get reservists
schaine replied to schaine's topic in Fallout 3's Discussion
Somewhere else means random? Ok, i kind of like this. -
Hello i have a problem. I finally got Fo3 to run stable with all my mods, but after i started a new game, i found out that the guy at the chapel with usually the reservists-rifle (i got it before) now has some Laser-Sniper that is totally OP. And since im skilled towards small guns and hate laser-guns+dont want to use mods to archieve weapons like this, i really need to fix this issue. What can i do? My isntalled mods are: FWE Fellout AWOP (a world of pain) DC interiors MMM RH_Iron Sights Immersive HUD/Adjustable HUD Weapon Mod Kits Performance Texture Pack. Thank you for all advice.

OK thank you, different problem, i dont want to start a new thread for it. I modded quite a bit, and startet a new game (i will keep playing the FWE-character). I went to the chapel to get my reservists-rifle, which i planned from the beginning. However, last time the guy in the church had the reservists rifle. When i got there with my modded-char, he had some laser-snper that was totally OP. And since im skilled for small weapons, this one has no use for me. I dont like laser-weapons either. How can i fix this? Thank you

INstalled a ton of mods at once-> game not working, bugfix?
schaine replied to schaine's topic in Fallout 3's Discussion
Thank you very much, that sounds loigical. I actually went through them, and i actually knew that it needed calibr, but i simply forgot. However, how do I get Craft.esm? I found a mod on here called Craft, which is an ESM file, but im pretty sure its something else, isnt it? It doesnt state its affiliated with FWE What would be the best way of adding it? Simply reinstalling FWE? -
Hello i have a big problem. (Description of the problem is at the end of the topic) Let me tell you everything i did: INstalled Fo3 Installed GOTY-DLC-CD Installed FOMM Played for a few hours with NMCs texture pack, RH_Ironsights and Fellout installed (FOSE and ArchiveINvalidation used) Since i came across GopherVids Modding guides on youtube, I wanted to install everything he uses, because the gameplay he uploaded with the mdos looks amazing (not important, i know) So i uninstalled the FOMM, installed the NMM (he uses them in the videos) Downloaded a ton of mods (I will list the load order later), and installed them. (not nmcs teyture pack, did that manually like he sais in the videos) Ran BOSS To the problem: When i start the game, it instantly crashes when loading up. I can briefly see the Fallout-Symbol coming up, and then it crashes with Win7 telling me its not working anymore. I have no idea why this is happening. So i downloaded FO3Edit and wanted to run it, but it gives me an error about "editing disabled" (I will also post the last few lines of the debug) Could you go over my info/tell me ways to fix this? Load Order: all fallout+dlcs first, after that you can find all in the added picture (i could only screenshot part of the list, the official ones are missing therefore. FO3Edit Debug: [00:08] Background Loader: loading "FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm"...[00:08] Background Loader: [FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm] Loading file[00:08] Background Loader: [FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm] File loaded[00:08] Background Loader: [FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm] Start processing[00:08] Background Loader: [FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm] Adding master "Fallout3.esm"[00:08] Background Loader: [FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm] Adding master "CRAFT.esm"[00:08] Background Loader: [CRAFT.esm] Loading file[00:08] Background Loader: Fatal: <EOSError: System Error. Mods for first (only) playthrough? (Fook 2, FWE etc.)
schaine replied to schaine's topic in Fallout 3's Discussion

Well, no matter what i mod, i will always encounter the same quests and story wont i? An i cant stand that. Just like i would never watch a movie twice. I just play/watch for the story, not for the gameplay i guess.

Well, i know i should choose between the two (FWE or FOOK 2), but FWE was said to be so hard only pros can handle it. And FOOK 2, i dont even really get what it does to the game. Just random enhancements? So you believe that FWE is suitable for a complete beginner (well, almost, i have like 15h in)

Thank you anyways, sir.
-
Hello, since i own the Pitt DLC, i will focus on getting two guns for the whole time, so i can produce ammo for them. then i wont have to switch too much, and i hate switching weapons. Anyways, I want got the reservists rifle, and will try to get the special scoped .44 magnum in the citadel. The magnums appear pretty often in the game, ive heard, so it would be worth getting a good repair skill. But ive been warned that sniper rifles are too rare to justify a high skill. So I'm thinking about just having them repaired for me. How costly is that? Will I have enough money later in the game to afford it? I know in Point Lookout, theres a guy harley that can get his skill up to 100%. Or are there always enough rifles in order to allow me repairing them myself? I kind of hate this system tbh. A full rifle every time i need to repair a part? Why cant we buy the repair parts at vendors? Anyways, could someone give me advice on how to proceed? How important is repairing anyways? Thank you

Hello I never play games twice, neverappeled to me so when i want to use mods, i need to use them instantly. So what would you recommend me? Currently i have rh-iron sights and fellout. Are fook 2 or fwe suitable for a beginner? Any others, that help make the experience more immersive or interesting, without changing the game too much? Fwe sounds perfect, but i think its too difficult. Vanilla is already difficult enugh for me atm. Yu can recommend me any mods you enjoyed that stay close to the lore, and allow a good story-playthrough. Thank you very much.

Hello, i would like to have a bigger choice and nicer looking spells (view Midas Magic Mod). Problem with those mods is that they usually make me overpowered and i dont want that. Is there a spell-mod that adds spells and is fairly balanced (book-cost, Mana-cost, damage)? Which do you recommend? if not new spells i want to at least use one of the many balancing mods making mages stronger since they seem to be underpowered in this game. Which one is the best? "balanced magic"? "Better Magic"? other recommendations? Thank you for all answers
