  1. So SKSE is likely already updated, or will be soon (I didn't bother to check), but since this update doesen't really mess-up the game as much as AE did, how many mods except maybe SKSE and Adress Library are likely to not work, or what kind of mods aren't likely to work until the author updates them? I know it improves papyrus and raises esl limits, so everything papyrus-related is also going to not work? I'd just like an estimate on how long to wait until I reinstall Skyrim, because I was building my modlist and forgot to turn-off auto-updates and I've just uninstalled, because I've decided I didn't like the mods I have installed that much anyway and wanted to start-off clean again. So, should I - wait at most a couple of weeks for everything relevant to be updated or - just use 1.640?
  2. Don't forget the balls shrinking when it's cold. I remember that being one of the main advertising points of Read Dead Redemption 2 when they were showcasing it - it was hilarious. Everyone was looking at horse ballsacks.
  3. Hello! I'll try to make this as short as possible - I'd like to have both TEWOBA (the expanded version of bikini armors) and The Book of UUNP/BHUNP installed at the same time and have all of the armors occur naturally as I level-up. Right now, I have only The Book of BHUNP installed with TAWOBA converted to BHUNP, the latter of which doesen't do anything to distribute the armors in any good way. There's the weird BHUNP conversion with digitigrade, that hasn't been updated in ages for BHUNP and the one that is well-done by Baka, but it's not the expanded version and it doesen't distribute it either. On top of that - the version of The Book of BHUNP that is out there doesen't have Elven Armor in it. I've checked it with xEdit and with the mod that lets you grab any item from a mod and it's just not there. Like it's missing completely. So maybe the CBBE version of it will have it? Now, with CBBE 3BBB you get the distribution working with both, the thing is - would it be worth it? I've checked the Bodyslide morphs for CBBE 3BA and they are rather limited compared to BHUNP, but with a bit of time I can create a similar custom preset to the one I am using in BHUNP too, or at least I'm able to get close to it. But I've read the comments for both mods and there seem to be issues with physics with CBBE 3BA not working with The Book of UUNP (3BBB CBBE) conversion. The other plus with CBBE is that Demoniac skin textures are the updated 2022 version for it, more armor packs and compilations to pick from and probably less issues with compatibility. So, do you think it's worth it to rebuild my mod list with CBBE 3BA/3BBB in mind? Additionally, do you know any more lore-friendly armor expansions for BHUNP or CBBE, that are well-implemented and numerous? I am specifically looking for NPCs wearing them. I am using OWL too and I know it may cause issues, so should I get rid of it and instead use something else?
  4. I've been wanting to do a playthrough with light armor + bound weapons for a longer time now and I have a large-ish modlist, though it's nothing too extreme - mostly armors and graphics + Easy NPC. I want my Skyrim to look a little "90s skimpy" to bring it that cheesy fantasy vibe and Boof of UUNP is absolutely essential for this and I've never had any issues with it. But then again - I never played light armor. So the problem is, the armor is supposed to appear in crafting when you have the book in your inventory. Not sure if it has to be read, but they're read and nothing appears. I also have elven smithing (I use Ordinator, but it's absolutely irrelevant in this case) and it's just the basic vanilla armor in the forge. The rest of the armors appear normally - fur, leather, forsworn, Iron, dwemer, steel - everything works. But not Elven or Glass. Didn't try to check Dragon Scale. I've checked the edits in xEdit and the only conflict that could overwrite Book of BHUNP is Morrowloot Ultimate, but far as I see it doesen't edit anything about the Elven armor and I've tried turning it off and using a clean save, but nothing happens. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this to happen? I can post my loadorder, but I'm just building it for now, so I'm not extra keen on manually sorting much of it - I just run it through LOOT most of the time. I don't think it's the load order either, because there's a person in this Reddit post, that's had the same issue right here: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/iscg3k/book_of_uunp_armors_not_showing_up_in_crafting/ but it went unanswered. He also has a WAY bigger modlist than me. I also have Immersive Armor, but it shows no conflicts and doesen't seem to interfere. Is there some way I can check the Elven Armor in CK or xEdit and what are the conditions for it to appear in the forge? TL;DR: I've made a clean a clean save with only Book of BHUNP and it's required plug-ins and Elven and Glass armors still don't appear in the forge. What gives?
  5. I have the same issue. Tried disabling the steam overlay and alt-tabbing as well. Nothing. I'm using a keyboard and a mouse and the mouse is working, but the keyboard is unresponsive. Everything else seems to be fine.
  6. Sad, that Requiem has no official SE port. I may have to skip that, since it is so incompatible; I would honestly prefer to go through PerMa's patching process, rather than trying to figure-out which mods work and don't work with Requiem, because that can take a full week, if I put 2 hours a day into modding. I can install FCOM in an hour with 200 other mods, but Oblivion isn't a game split into two with the community being less than a half of Skyrim's. I am basically looking for a more-balanced and compatible FCOM.
  7. So I have recently bought Skyrim SE and I haven't modded the game since LE in like 2015. I was too busy playing Dark Souls and modding Oblivion instead, which is why I have so far avoided the use of MO2 - take that into account and tell me if I do absolutely need to use it for things to work or not. I would just like to ask, which of the big gameplay overhauls is worth installing? I have been messing-around with installing PerMa, but couldn't find a readme anywhere on how the hell to install it. At least I got Synthesis to work, but for now it is pointless. I had originally wanted to use SkyRE, but I have heard Perma is better; I am however offput by missing perk desriptions and overcomplexity. Ordinator, on the other hand, seems a little too simple and you have to download many other mods for it to be a complete overhaul, however; it avoids stupid patchers I am not used to. I have installed FCOM many times over with 300+ mods, if that helps. I am looking for what Misery is to Stalker: Call of Pripyat, you know? A mod, that makes the game harder, more complex, but not unnecessairly and aritificially hard by making fights ridiculous, perks unreadable and not obvious what they do. Because that is annoying. I just want the gameplay more varied and fun, while keeping the vanilla feel partially, making it more complex. I am deciding between; SkyRE PerMa Ordinator + various other mods by Enai to fill it up Requiem maybe? Also, this is my loadorder. I have not properly tried the game out yet by playing it, but there are no crashes and MCM has all of them loaded in and I have followed most of the instructions for every mod, except cleaning with xEdit, and LOD generation, which I plan to do once I am sure I won't be installing more bigger mods. Any tips on which to use? I can learn how to use the Synthesis patchers, but I need a proper readme.
  8. I think that's going to be the easiest way then. If I'd take the time to remake it into a BAIN-friendly format and fix-up all the bugs it would take quite a long while.
  9. Hello! I have recently finally bought Skyrim SE and I cannot wait to flood it with mods. However, I .on't like neither Vortex nor MO2, nor NMM and prefer to use Wrye Bash, because I'm used to heavily modding Oblivion and the Fallout games, not Skyrim SE. I'm interested in using the "Pretty" series animations - especially the ones for combat, but those have installers only for NMM or MO2, not Wrye and Wrye fails to recognise folder format and is not letting me install it. Is there a fix or a version somewhere, that I can use with WB, or some conversion, or do I have to manually pick the files I want to use, manually structure them and then install, run FNIS and run the game? I would like to avoid doing all of that manually, it is rather annoying. Any reason why WB fails to recognise this specific user's folder structure? Thanks in advance for any solutions.
  10. Oh bother. Well. I guess I have solved it on my own - I've found Oblivion Reloaded - Lite, which was not showing-up in the top mods, because it's quite fresh for this game. This has allowed me to turn-off the bad features of OR and the water, allowing me to use the best water imo, for Oblivion - Lush and Gaudy and added the texture replacement, so it's now beautiful. I'll install a couple of more mods, Monkey ENB and maybe I'll post a screen here, if everything stays as stable as it is. I had no crashes so far, or texture problems! Not even neck seams and OCO is especially sensitive to graphic improvements! Do you guys have any good advice on searching newer, better mods on Oblivion Nexus? I've tried using the filters and setting a certain time period, but it's kind of hard to find newer "best" mods.
  11. Hey there! I'm wondering if I should even use OR, because of the feature creep and it's numerous bugs and me using OCOv2, which says in the description, that it hates skin shaders, I don't think it's a good idea. What am I missing-out on, if i'm not using OR? Because I always turn-off the useless animations, enhanced cameras, naked swimming and even parts of the graphics changes I have better replacements for. Can I achieve a better look for the game without OR? I don't have an extremely high-end PC, mind you. I can run Witcher 3 in lower medium, same with games like Battlefield 4. I'm not interested in gameplay enhancements, mounted combat and all that BS - if I was, I'd download separate, more-specialized mods to do that. Right now I have OR installed and have no issues, except for visible seams on characters and I have yet to remove the annoying combat animations. For some reason, CombatMode is missing in OblivionReloaded.ini, which is annoying as hell, so I'll probably delete the meshes, right? But i'd rather achieve a better look without OR, as I feel it'll cause problems I'll have to solve and tweak in the ini constantly. I'd rather have a more modular option. So what do I use, except some good water replacer (Suggest some! I like vibrant colors and tropical-looking fantasy water!), ShadeMe, ENB (Also suggest something interesting! Doesen't have to be photorealistic, I actually prefer it to be not, for more fantasy look), retextures with parralax (Quarl's and some others, i'm covered texture-vise) and ... what else?
  12. That's exactly the reason why you should learn of how to use Wrye Bash, so I sugggest that you stop using MO2 and install the mods you want to use with Wrye Bash. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/35230 - take a look at the pictorial guide for Wrye Bash, just to see how to use the most basic features in Wrye Bash Sorry, but I obviously know how to use Wrye Bash. I'm using MO2, so that I can switch back and forth between two mod setups. Had I been using Wrye, I wouldn't be asking questions about MO2 on the Nexus, right? God, I hate it when people try to sound smart and make a generic reply, while assuming I'm a dumbass. Can anyone on this forum actually help me? Please? How would I make this work i.e. what's the difference between Wrye and MO2, that's causing MO to ignore one of the armor mods and not the other? It's a really strange bug and i'm 90% sure i'm not doing anything wrong. I did try resetting timestamps, but it did not work, so it's not them.
  13. I'm having trouble with the mods, as they keep using EVE or BBB for EVE instead of this replacer no matter where I put it in the priority/load order and, since MO2 injects mods instead of directly installing them, I cannot use TES4Edit to view what's causing the issue. Any help to this? I've just started using MO2 and so far i'm happy, except for the sometimes-painful manual installs, LOOT usage and certain older mods breaking.
  14. Might have been a creature spawning, that wasn't compatible with the mod and was missing it's meshes, but then the game would display the "WTF" message. Probably a missing texture or on incompatibility. WarCry and MOO are also extremely out of lore and if you remove everything, that is not lore, you'll end up with a pretty barebones mod. I personally turn WC off and use FCOM without it. It's just there for the masters, but i'm using FCOMWarCryNoSpawn.esp Bashed should be always last, if i'm not wrong. I can only install COBL after FCOM and Better Cities and I still don't know what to use from Frans in order to install it with MO2 :/
