Thanks so much for the help SMB fixed the problem. Although i still get the "1 file failed to validate and will be updated" when I use steam to check the integrity of game cache. The game works fine but I kind of worry about these things. Suppose I should ask steam?

So basically my problem is that I can't use FNVEdit anymore. For some reason I get an error message right from the beginning telling me it can't read the main falloutnewvegas.exe. I'm not sure what the issue is but I think it has to do with the same thing that is causing another problem. When I go to my steam library, right click on fallout and click on preferences. I go to local files and verify integrity of files, and it says a file is missing and will be updated. But it never seems to update. Any other's have similar problems?
