I love this idea! Also I have found a mod which possibly may help with your project. It is the forge: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9958 It has it's own armour, but you can add a recipe for that. I really hope this idea is picked up by some modder, because I really want to see this in-game!

Hi everyone, I tried to make a 3d model of a sword an texture it like excalibur as seen in merlin. I couldn't texture it right, so I thought I would just post my idea here. I love the sword excalibur with the texture it has in the series merlin. I planned it to be a powerful two-handed sword with fire damage, because in the series it was forged in the breath of a dragon. I hope someone can make this.
