There used to be a mod that turned spiders in Origins into dogs or something. Whatever happened to that mod? If it's not around, then how could I go about replacing the spiders in this game?

I have a link to this website. But, the last update to it was over a year ago. Are there any newer versions of this project? Such as, "Hey those 2 or 3 or 4 mods were condensed into this one mod. Or, this new mod does the same thing as those mods do". Or is there another website to check out that can essentially do the same thing? Which is basically totally update Skyrim with the best graphics and better functionality.

I have a general question regarding mods with this particular mod in mind. Are we waiting for modders to figure out how to do this stuff? Or are modders having to wait for Bioware to release something in order to do the mods? I have never made a mod, so I have no idea what is needed.
