  1. I have been looking for a mod that allows you to continue to play the game when you die, rather than loading another save. I want this because when I die I want there to be some form of ramification for when I die to make me want to survive and flee if necessary. With this it would be possible to lose expensive or important gear (although make necessary quest items stay with you upon death). A pitfall for this idea I do see is that it could be incredibly buggy in terms of storyline and sequence of events. Either way, what are your thoughts? Have I overlooked this and there is a mod already out or is this just an unrealizable idea.
  2. This is an extention of a post I made earlier today but for the people who wont know what i'm talking about. - I am currently running 1.6 Fallout 3 patch with 1.8BETA FOSE and have Fallout3ModManager. I am having a problem with the 'CRAFT' mod system which is conflicting somewhere down the line, however I cannot work out what it is conflicting with. The ACTUAL problem is :- Junk Workbench (Non-CRAFT version) Working & Operational Weapon Modification (Workbench attached -- not sure if its CRAFT related) Working & Operational CRAFT menu (Workbench) Does not appear at all, cannot select it Active menu (Original's such as Bottlecap mine) Appears but when selected nothing happens I have tried to delete and reinstall, and tried to eliminate possible conflicting mods, however I cannot work it out so I am not 100% sure. Im suspicious of the current 1.6Patch that may have borked it. I have attached a .XML to express the ModLoadout
  3. Off topic, Whats 'point outlook' like? Ive not downloaded it (or planned to yet) as i havnt even finished the game on pc with mods yet
  4. Got the FOSE update, and replaced my old version ill see if it works later Either way many thanks
  5. Use a program called "games for windows live disabler" it allows you to bring the DLC to the actual Data folder for you to see. hope this helps
  6. I have noticed that my Workbench 3000 im the crater supply no longer works. I cannot create vanilla weapons or modded weapons. Im at a loss at what has caused this My current ideas are :- - Patch 1.6 has altered something in a way to cease it functioning with my mods (Making FOSE not recognise my current Fallout 3 Version) Having said this, i can however play fallout 3 with mods, I just have to run it through Fallout 3/Fallout launcher directory (instead of using F3Modmanager) - I've completly fubar'd my game without realising it (Only thing I can think of that is changed other than option one is that I used Fallout3's Mod load order manager..Thing.) Feedback is much appreciated as its not an important part of my game, however I do like to create things which is a sad part to lose of fallout 3! Many thanks. P.s Any extra information that may help me solve this problem, feel free to ask me
  7. I have noticed two sides of the 1.6 patch in terms of lag. Outside areas are faster Inside areas are slower. This has also made my FOSE not work when i try load the game with the fallout Mod Manager (I can still however play via the Fallout launcher menu in Fallout 3 Directory)
