So How do I use papyrus to troubleshoot what mods are conflicting or causing CTD's and freezes? Or what are ways that you guys would recommend? I have wrye bash, Boss, TES5 Edit and I just installed creation kit but I am not sure how to use papyrus to troubleshoot while I am playing I already cleaned my mods and everything with TES5 and used wrye and boss for load order. Basically my game is heavily modded over 100 mods I just need to see whats going on in that aspect now. If that doesnt solve my problems I know I need to get better cooling for my CPU and possibly my GPU they are very powerful and generate a lot of heat under load. I need to get liquid cooling but that will be the last step. I basically want to see a list of where things went wrong like with TES5 Edit. Thanks guys! :)

Ok im using the experimental version of TES5 edit 3.0.31 and now i started deleting a few files and when I try load up the files i want to clean the masters for... it starts loading everything and when it gets to one of the mods i deleted, it says "an error occured. editing is disabled. check the message log and correct the error. Do i have to reinstall those mods then clean the masters associated with them and THEN delete them?

So I have deleted some mods and am currently scaling my mods down because my Vram is crashing the game. SO, I deleted a few mods and duel sheath redux path (one of my mods and a skyproc patcher) is dependent on some of those master esm's of those mods. Now I can not run skyproc patches and am having problems. How do I remove the dependancy from these mods I deleted?? Thank you everyone !

I have a lot of mods active. one i think is messing with arrow placement. What i mean is when i shoot an NPC with an arrow it will appear on them in some weird spot or at a bad angle. It's one of the most satisfying things to me seeing where i hit my target. I am unsure if mods that change meshes or skins or mods such as weapon idle that change the way you hold and shoot your weapons could do this. Any helpful advice as to figuring out which mod is causing this would be greatly appreciated. I have Tytanis, Monster mod, Auto unequip arrows... And a lot more.

So my applications like wrye bash and nexus mod manager are trying to write to plugins.txt but they are looking in the wrong place. How do i change the place they are looking in?

It would seem i do not even have a plugins.txt and if i make one i can not change it from read only... I uncheck it and hit apply and as soon as i check it again its read only..

I stopped playing for a month never had this problem but i come back and its een like this ever since nothing changed on my ocmputer except the nexus update to manager.

Cant install certain mods recently through mod manager always the same error ---->First of it says SUCCESS at the top but then lol it says, A problem ocurred during install: BOSS_API_ERROR_FILE_WRITE_FAIL: "C:\USERS\Marcus\AppData\Local\Skyrim\Plugins.txt" Cannot be written too! this mod was not installed -_- HEEEELP lol :D thanks

So I have my steam and skyrim installed on my secondary hard drive ( not drive :C ) And i have mod manager I get a error when trying to install mods and mod manager crashes when trying to delete these same ones if they are installed. The error is..... BOSS_API_ERROR_FILE_WRITE_FAIL: "C:\USERS\MY NAME\AppData\Local\Skyrim\Plugins.txt" Cannot be written too!! I installed BOSS and it gives me the same error. Now im wondering if i need to delete all my skyrim and steam information and install it on drive C because it seems certain mods have been written by the modder to write only to that area?? Or is it the recent update and this version of mod manager because I took a break from playing for like a month and never had this problem before and skyrim was installed in the same place. Thanks for the help getting frustrated lol
