A suggestion, regarding handling of SKSE dependent mods: Where a mod is version sensitive, flag it with a highlight in RED. Where a mod is SKSE dependent, but 'apparently' not version sensitive, flag it with a highlight in GREEN. Sort mods using highlight - scroll to bottom of list. RED followed by GREEN listed mods appear at end of list. Check update for mods in RED - download if present. Check update for mods in GREEN - is mod still version insensitive?
