  1. I found the solution. I have skyre installed. The reproccer for skyre was overwriting my changes. I had to go into the reproccer stats.xml file and add a "weapon_exclusion" line for the thresher so it wouldnt try and change the weapon.
  2. As the title says I am having trouble with the creation kit. I decided I wanted to change the stats of a weapon in game. Specifically the "Thresher Maul" in the immersive weapons mod. So i open up the creation kit. check Skyrim Main, Update, and immersive weapons (check it and set it as my active file). I search for "thresher" in the search box, find the item in the creation kit, and start editing. I increase the damage, reach and weight of the item. Then i save it. Load Skyrim and go into my inventory but nothing about the weapon changed. So i go into console and spawn a new thresher maul, still nothing about the weapon has changed. So I exit skyrim and go back into the CK. Load all the previous files and make immersive weapons esp my active file. Search for thresher maul again and find it. Open up the window and all of the changes i made previously are still there......soooo why aren't they showing up in game? in game i have a regular un-changed weapon, but the creation kit saved my changes...just never applied them in game. How do i get these changes to take affect in game?
  3. Alright so heres where I'm at so far. I have Skyrim in a stable state. I am playing my game where I last left off. Immersive Patrols was not the problem. I watched Gopher's video on load order and using tes5edit and all that jazz like Antigravitas suggested. Its just my luck that tes5edit was no help at all. Tes5edit ran through my entire plugins list with no problem, never reported an error. So I downloaded LOOT to see if this would fix the problem. After running LOOT and using LOOTS load order instead of BOSS's I still had no luck. So I went through my recent mods and uninstalled the last 10 mods (I got these ten mods all within the last 2 days). Basically taking my game back to the last stable state i remembered. I ran all of the skyproc patchers and LOOT and got my game to come back on after about an hour of messing around and uninstalling those mods. Then I individually went through each new mod I had installed and reinstalled them. So far I have 7/10 new mods installed that i originally wanted and the game is perfectly stable. The last three that I haven't tried are the USKP mods, (unofficial skyrim patch, unofficial dawnguard patch, and dragon born patch). I originally had versions 2.0.1 of each of those installed and wanted to update them to their newest versions (2.0.5). I'm guessing Those three mods were what was messing my game up and not immersive patrols, because the newest immersive patrols patch is currently running stable on my game. So im sticking with the 2.0.1 versions that I know are stable right now. I will come back and update this when I try to update the 3 USKP mods I want, But as far as I'm concerned this is fixed. P.S. TheFirstDutch: installing RealVision ENB was a bit of a struggle for me as well. I never got the crash to desktop but getting it to actually work in my game was a pain (TOTALLY WORTH IT THOUGH!!! the colors, lighting and atmosphere of the game changed so much when it started working). Gopher has a really helpful guide on it. I recommend watching it a couple times and reading RealVision ENB's page thoroughly. The Authors page really does guide you through the process very well. here is Gophers revised video
  4. When I start my game it will load the Bethesda logo and then go to the main menu screen and load the dragon emblem, however before the menu options appear the game CTDs. I've had this problem before and it was usually caused by one of the mods or a missing file. So i would just uninstall the mod back to a point where I new my game was stable and everything would work fine. However this isn't working this time. I've run BOSS and it came back fine, I've also looked at the papyrus log and can't understand it. Series of events immediately before the problem: 1. was playing skyrim this morning, everything was fine. 2. installed 4 minor mods. 3. continued playing skyrim (completely stable with new mods installed, played for about 2 hours) 4. quit skyrim, and installed a new version of Immersive Patrols (had 1.6 and upgraded to 2.02) 5. Run BOSS, do all the skyproc patchers for ASIS and SkyRe blah blah blah 6. start up Skyrim, loads the Bethesda logo and then BLAM! CTD 7. tried uninstalling Immersive Patrols 2.02. 8. BOSS and all the other stuff. 9. start up Skyrim and still CTD 10. So.....i'm lost and don't know how to fix this. 11. I'm assuming Immersive Patrols did this but I don't know why it would. According to the mod author there are no scripts so installing and uninstalling should be clean and safe. BOSS LOG Papyrus Log: any help on this would be awesome because at this point I can't even start a new play through or load a game.
