  1. So now that the change has been implemented. When will we get to participate in an evaluation poll so you can measure how well the change went and can continue to the next step?
  2. Show actual proof that there is a way to get to the poll, or it isn't true. I've looked. Using Chrome with no ad-blockers or CSS script overrides, or any other extensions, there is no link anywhere.
  3. Quite a small percentage uses the start page after they found their games' pages. So you probably mostly catch newer users.
  4. They will probably monetize the additional looks. Like Discord. Step 1. Make UI unbearable. Step 2. Make additional UI styles and monetize them. Step 3. Cash in all the money from the flock.
  5. Maybe it's the old British approach of divide and conquer?
  6. I've worked with hubs like this where something has stopped working and something new has to take its place. But I guess I'm old school. We cloned the hub to a test environment and in that setup we converted everything into the new design. No features were lost. The main feel of the hub's design as to the whole style was kept as similar as it was possible to minimise the change for the users. So they could find and use things as they have done before with ease. When we felt we had done that, we set up a new server with the new design, we started testing it live as we had the database linked with the old and new. Moving at first 100 users at a time until we reached 1000, then we added 1000 at a time until we reached 10000, then we added them 10000 at a time until we reached 100000. Then we moved everyone over to the new server and retired the old one. After each additional addition we had a survey and made sure people knew where to report bugs, if any were found. Which would get fixed before the nest addition of users. Most of the times, the "bugs" were of missing punctuation or something small like that as we made sure to test it with user cases gathered over the years from our Support and QA teams, before starting to add regular users to it. I don't understand the need for companies to put out half-baked products these days.
  7. I love to download mods to the games I play to my phone because it has many terabytes of storage, and moving files from the phone to the PC is done in an instant without me having to do anything as soon as I'm a few yards from home. It also launches the game I downloaded the files for as soon as I unlock the door. Or wait, is that not how it works? Fine, people with phones like to visit NexusMods. Probably because they mod their PC games. Then do what countless other websites have done. Make a UX just for phones that detects when you're browsing to the site from your phone or from your computer. And if it is from the phone, it automatically selects the phone UX. Letting the minority's platforms rule what a site should be catering for is just bad in every way possible. Especially with SO many options today with scaleable webdesign.
  8. They should at least split it at its natural splitting point, INTER VIEW
  9. You can still get an AAA rating with lower contrast than the one you implemented. So it can't be just the AA rating fueling the decision to have the most extreme high-contrast option.
  10. That is how it should have been done.
  11. Putting on my tinfoil hat, maybe they want you to use the site on your phones more so they get more access to things you do on your phone with tracking cookies?
  12. How will you refine it so we can see the whole name of the mod and not a shortened version? Everyone knows the style you went for is challenging to handle data, which is why it is SO bad to move to instead of move away from.
  13. The main thing (except for the readability/eye strain) for me is the new search function. The quick search was the GOAT of search engines. The old regular search was eons ahead of this new one. With much more searchable options and a superior presentation in a list view that we could sort in an ascending or descending order. I had a bookmarked search that allowed me to see all the new mods I'm interested in (where I excluded all translation modes and a few other options) in an order by newest to oldest. Which told me that when I got to a mod that I had already downloaded I had bought up with all the latest mods that I am interested in. Now with this gallery layout, I just can't be bothered.
  14. Thank you so much! I can finally read again!
  15. Oodles of websites let you customize what colors to use. Both with premade templates and custom settings. When doing a redesign, why that wasn't included is odd, pertaining to the utter 1990 teen angst homepage color choices they went with.
  16. I haven't been looking at any mods since this change. The headache isn't worth it. So it can also be that fewer people are looking at mods in general.
  17. I can only guess that those UX designers who made the failed new Windows 8 UX got fired and then hired by NexusMods. The quick search in the old design was lightyears ahead in function and design compared to the new search feature. The darker design is like many already stated, making people sick. Anyone with any professional know-how in web design should know how to avoid that. Trending mods... Why should I care about that? Collections, never used then and never will. Browsing the website on a phone? Never have I ever, and never will I ever. The mods are for the computer games I own, can't download them to my phone and instantly have access to them on my computer. Designing a website that caters to computer gaming to work best on mobile devices is proof of a lack of judgment and possibly a lack of intelligence to make decisions about what is good or bad development. Because why would you throw money at something that didn't need fixing, instead of handing it to things that would have benefitted more from being given those funds? If I were to own stock in Nexus, I would put forward a vote on replacing the entire leadership in the company. If that got voted down, I would have sold all my stock. If someone would make an interface that fixes these things as a way to browse NexusMods through I would happily choose that, as I am now not going to look to NexusMods for new mods. Only check if any of the mods that I'm tracking have updates.
  18. Maybe people that know how to do this, should make a new and better site, so Nexus will get some competition. Competition is after all what capitalism and the law of the jungle is all about.
  19. The new mod library list makes me want to poke my eyes out. It is awful, and reminds me of something from the 1990-ies. The previous version felt fresher, more logical, easier to navigate, just simply way more excellent than this new junk. I'm having problems motivating myself to even go to download anything now. If that was the goal, then well done.
  20. The title pretty much said what this is about. I've looked through the head options and the Shadar-Kai NPC, He Who Was' head is not one of them. Would someone please try and make it into one?
  21. I can't agree more. The camera movement in battle is really pushing my buttons. Clearly the camera in non-combat exists and could be used. The questions are, is it had coded and can't be changed, is it an easy fix, and can someone make such a mod?
