  1. Title. Or is there some kind of procedure that I need to follow? Edit: I did it...hopefully there won't be any issues going forward.
  2. I found a couple of darnified.esp files in Vortex and deleted them. I'm going to give it one last try...
  3. The only file I made changes to was the Fallout.ini for the fonts...it was not tagged as 'read-only'.
  4. I'm using Vortex. My first step was to remove the mod, yes. There were/are no signs of the mod in my load order, yet it persists in my game.
  5. I deleted all FNV files and did a fresh install, twice. Both times the "mod" was right there waiting on me! XD That is literally impossible. If you delete your install folder and all subfolder it is completely impossible for DarnUI to still be installed. The only possible way this could happen is if you have FNV installed in two different places and you are deleting the wrong one. Here's my process... Steam > SteamApps > Common > Fallout New Vegas > delete Documents > My Games > FalloutNV > delete Run > AppData > Local > FalloutNV > delete Steam > Fallout: New Vegas > uninstall What am I missing?
  6. I deleted all FNV files and did a fresh install, twice. Both times the "mod" was right there waiting on me! XD
  7. I did. I've completely removed the game and deleted all the folders and reinstalled the game twice. The only thing I forgot to do is to remove the Vortex files...that might be the problem. How do I delete those files?
  8. No joke...it is impossible to remove this "mod" from my game! I've tried everything I know...is there a way to completely obliterate this "mod" from my computer? If you hover the cursor over the pipboy icon in the lower lefthand corner it's like it's laughing at you! Help! EDIT: I was finally able to destroy this crap mod! The mod would persist in my game even though I uninstalled and removed it...I had to delete the Vortex staging file for FNV.
  9. I need to purge them all...I can't get rid of Darnified UI. Hope this does the trick! edit: the purge button does nothing.
  10. I need to uninstall FNV for the second time in 2 days, how do I remove all of the FNV mods from Vortex? I reinstalled FNV but I forgot to start fresh on Vortex, too. I don't think you can just use the remove mod button. Thanks in advance for any help!
  11. I tried the 'Rename Anything' mod a long time ago...sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. When I would log back in after renaming my settlers many of their names reverted back to 'Settler'. I might give it another try because a lot of time has passed and my mod list has changed a bit. As for the 'Immersive Settlers' mod, I have a list of names that I prefer to use, many of which are not on their list. Thanks for your input, my friend!
  12. I did a search and came up empty handed. Anyone know why this hasn't been addressed yet? Seems like a no-brainer to me. But maybe y'all know something that I don't know...
  13. Better Locational Damage totally screwed up my game...I had to reinstall in order to fix the mess it made. Anyway, I feel for ya bro...there's nothing worse than having a problem with your mods that you cannot solve.
  14. I'm trying to get a fresh install but there are saved games hidden somewhere. Here is my procedure... 1) Disable all plugins in NMM 2) Delete local game content on Steam 3) Navigate to (C:) Users > Name > AppData > Local > Fallout 4 folder and delete it 4) Navigate to Documents > My Games > Fallout 4 and delete the folder 5) Navigate to (D:) > Steam > steamapps > common > check that Fallout 4 folder is gone (it is) 6) uninstall Fallout 4 in Steam I also deselected the Cloud sync. Done this 3 times now and every time I reinstall I have old saves in the new install! Where are these saves hiding? Edit: I should also mention that I did a search in Documents on my second attempt, at the end of the procedure listed above...with no results.
  15. Well, that's good news! Thank you so much for posting that info...I'll look into merging some of my smaller mods into packages.
