Never had a problem with NMM.
NMM is updated: the current version is 0.84.3

if you can use console commands, then:
player. moveto 000A2C94
where 000A2C94 is Lydia's ref id

Check Save cleaner.
It backs up the file before cleaning.

Skyrim launches: I have the small widow where I can click play.
Then the Skyrim logo appears, but there is nothing on the right hand side. I cannot select if I want to continue or load a specific save.
The screen stays black with the Skyrim logo.
Not even the Bethesda logo on the bottom left hand size dares to appear :-)
So far, no idea why.

I just restarted playing Skyrim LE after a few months gap.
Everything was working fine.
I launch Skyrim LE, click on "play", the logo appears, and nothing.
A friend had the exact same problem a week ago.
Anybody else had this problem?
If yes, how did you sorted it out?

a recent mod from the last few days seems to have vanished.
I was tracking it, but no tracks?
This mod was about reordering all your file games to allow faster access and less stuttering.
Help to solve the mystery welcome :-)

You can update NMM on Github.
It's now 0.80.11

Have you tried using command prompt admin to force delete these files?
DEL /F /Q /A name_of_the_file/F – force delete/Q – will not display – Y/N confirmation and just will remove the files automatically/A – selects the files having ready for archiving attributeAlso, file path can be used directly for example just typeDEL /F /Q /A C:\Users\HP1\Documents\file.txtIf your file gets deleted, no error will be displayed. -

I don't think we need a new thread about this topic rehashing everything again.

You are using Legendary Edition, so you use the mods for Skyrim LE.
The mods for Skyrim SE are not compatible with LE.
There are tons of mods for LE, and new ones are added every day.
