  1. Okay, now I understand. I will leave it at 10240 then. I always went with what the S.T.E.P.-Wiki said. (Use the VRamSizeDX9.exe and use the provided value.) Thanks again.
  2. Thanks, I try'd it real quick and it's better now. Not gone, but better. Gonna do some longer testing to see if I get a crash or not. By the way: Did you mean "VideoMemorySizeMb=10240" or is it a typo, should it be 1024? I have it at 10240 now. 2017/09/04 - 00:26 - Edit: After a five minute stress test: No crashes. I used the console with these commands player.forceav stamina 9999 player.forceav speedmult 1200 tcl tgm and flew all over the map; in first person, thrid person, near ground, in the sky. There was lag, but I wasn't going for nice FPS but I wanted to put some stress on the game to see if it crashes. It did not, so thats a plus. Now I do some more tweaking to make FPS more stable and I will be all set.
  3. Made a mistake and forgot to put in the secend log. But I can't, edit the post anymore. I put the log into "Code"-Brakets. It seems the stuff in the Vanilla Log Spoiler is to much for the editor. So to avoid more issues I won't upload the "Modded Log" (for now). If a Moderator or so could remove the Vanilla Log Spoiler and it's content, that would be nice. I could see that my CPU might cause the FPS problems, but according to SPM my CPU is at 26 % average, max 42 % for Vanilla and for Modded it's 18 % average, max 51 %. So if my CPU isn't even at full capacity, I don't think it's the problem. My VRAM is high because I set aside 1 GB in my enblocal.ini. For testing I ran around, killed a wolf or elk or bandit, jumped and used magic. Testing was done outside, haven't tested interior yet. I will do some more testing with "tcl" and fly around. So I would like to know if you can help me make my FPS more stable. I don't need 60 FPS (though it would be nice), but I would like to have it more stable. Best regards, BlackRubyRaven
  4. Hey, so I'm having FPS problems. They are rather unstable. But not just in the modded game, but also in the "vanilla" game. (Vanilla + Unoffical Patches + SKSE + ENBoost Part of ENB) All topics I've found say it's the fault of the mods or hardware. But even vanilla FPS are unstable. And my hardware should be up to the Task to at least run vanilla properly, since I can run Rise of the Tomb Raider and Witcher 3, on High, without problems. (At least I haven't noticed problems) I used BethINI for my INIs and then made changes trough MO when a mod demanded it. I sorted my Mods, while watching what Mod overwrites what and order them, accordingly. I also let MO move Mods if there was a problem. I let Loot sort my plugins and looked over it for problems (I did not see any). In the end I made the Bashed Patch (with the help of the S.T.E.P.-Wiki) I tried different settings and things. Like making run my .exe's as admin, but that cost flickering and other problems. Skyrim is installed in Programm Files (x86) but UAC is disabled and I have full permissions. My C drive (SSD) is for my OS so my games go to my F drive (HDD). System Specs: INI's & Log's: I can't attach files. It seems I'm not permitted to upload these kind of files. So I put it all in spoilers. enblocal.ini: skse.ini: Skyrim.ini: SkyrimPrefs.ini: Modlist: MO reversed the order, don't know why. Ignore the "--- [text] ---" mods, they don't have flies and are just to give me a general idea what's what. Loadorder: Skyrim Performance Monitor Logs: Vanilla Log:
  5. Thank you for the answer. I looked around the web some more and decided to mod Skyrim LE. And so far things are ... okay. Got some FPS and Physik kinks to work out, but other wise the game seems stable. Thanks again for the answer.
  6. Hey there, so let me explain what exactly I want to know. Editt: I have written a lot of extra stuff, that has not that much to do with the questions. I reformated it and put it all in a extra spoiler. Read if you fell like it. To make things more readable I use formating and spoilers. I'm from germany and not a native english speaker, so please excuse all spelling and grammar mistakes. If you point the mistakes out I will edit my post(s) accordingly. The Question(s) 1. Should I play Skyrim Vanilla first before I mod it or mod it first? (Remember I never played the game, aside from mod and stress testing.) 2. If I play vanilla, should it be LE or SE? (I would go with SE on this, because I heard it's more stable.) 2a. If I go for a vanilla run are there any mods to make the game more stable/fix bugs, other than the unoffical patches, I should install? 3, If I should mod it first, should it be LE or SE? (I would go with the LE here, because of things like SKSE, SkyUI and the number of mods.) 3a. Should I mod Skyrim in the first place? (Look below for System Specs.) System Specs: Additional Info Here I will provide some additional info for you, that is not really necessary to answer the question(s). (excluding my System Specs.) This Post should be in the right forum, since I do talk and ask about Skyrim Mods. If this should not be the right forum, kindly move it to the propper place and I apoligize for any inconviniences I have caused. If something should be unclear, ask and I will try to answer. Thank you for your time, paicentce and answers. Highest regards to you all, BlackRubyRaven
