Have you tried yellow instead of red for the second font?

@ Yagho: All capitals on the other hand becomes a bit too serious.
Unfortunately that font only has capital letters :(

NO NUDITY ALLOWED
Do not post any images of nudity including breasts, genitalia, buttocks or characters that are wearing so little that they might as well be naked (like 1 pixel wide thongs that cover nothing up)
So a lot actually.
I have no problems with that pic. Or moderately skimpy stuff in general.
I like it, a lot more than the original one.
Yeah, I dont like that one either, that was just a first pitch to show what I mean, but you guys just couldnt keep your horses :P
EDIT: Any more ideas / opinions for the design? I think I will get rid of the >>><<< , but take V3.

That is a great idea. So here's the plan for now: we'll have the people who are on often enough, like myself, keep all the thumbnails - like we're pretty much doing now- and then the casual contributors don't have to worry about linking to new images. They can just link to my pic or some of the other frequent posters' pics. In other words we will have a suggested procedure but it won't matter if there are a few loose links in the chain.
That works too - I was thinking we could have something like an official "Cover-page" that links all. Something similar to this: :D

Anyway, are we certain that there's a lag and if so that it's because of the thumbnails?
Just had a look at this: Definitely not.
The 9 Thumbnails I have in the description right now sum up to about 110 KB. The whole page is around 2,5 MB => The thumbnails are 4,4 % of the page.
We could just keep on like this. (1 Full size Pic ~ 115 Thumbnails....)
PS: Curiously, most thumbnails are actually even only about 3KB, while a few are 30 KB - no idea why.

Yagho, I'm hoping to start keeping track here so we can have a "central database" and hopefully we'll work out something that works, obviously this will have to be a collaborative effort as only the poster can change the image description.
Of course! My thinking was just that whenever someone uploads a new Pic, there obviously is no next one in the series for him to link yet. So he would have to wait until the next Picture comes in and then go back and add it to his description.
I have no doubt that this wouldnt be a problem in most cases, but at some point there will probably be someone who doesnt log in for a week or fergets, or something like that. And then it could get messy.
Yet again another idea: We all do the previous + next Picture link as you suggested and the additionally have a link to a "See the whole journey"- Picture. If you click on this you get to a pic that lists them all in the description. That would become one big page, but someone who wants to see the whole journey would surely not mind to wait a few secs longer.

iV000, basically just grab a torch, make a pic, upload and put the code for the other pics in the description (which you can find in the comments of the latest pic)! :)
oh, and maybe drop a comment with a link at the last few pics so that everyone knows :)

I see another problem with having only the previous and the next pic: It will only work if everyone (!) actually puts it into their description - and as this gets bigger, thats pretty much bound to fail I think. If only one is missing, the chain is broken and the viewer wont know where to turn.
Maybe it could work like this? : The first 9 display the first 9 images, the 10th starts a "new round" starting with the picture before him, and so on and on.... It doesnt have to be exact, as long as someone somewhere starts a new round. This way it also wouldnt matter if someone is missing links, because you could simply go back to the last pic (as it is now)
Another Idea: Maybe we should number the Pics? Then everyone can (in two weeks time) immediately see that there are (hopefully) already 43 pics in the series :D

At some point when I was just roaming about, I climbed on top of some mountain and had a look around. It was really misty and there was heavy snowfall, you really couldnt see anything. And I thought, well I'm on top of a mountain I want to enjoy the view! So I go to the edge of the cliff and shout at the skies so that I can see Skyrim below me. As it goes, the clouds slowly withdrew, only to reveal a dragon literately 3m in front of me, flying straight at me... Don't think a game ever made me jump like that.
I actually proceeded then to call Odahviing and this turned into the most epic fight I ever witnessed in Skyrim - although I was barely involved. The two dragons were quite preoccupied with each other, but all the time cliff diving around me chasing each other tail on tail, frost vs fire... What a sight! :)

Before I could even sheath my weapons, a guard walks over to me, looks me in the eye and says, " I could have taken out the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary myself, but I was sick that day".

Yeah, strangely true.
Don't know how many of you played Morrowind, but it's quite interesting how the series developed. Morrowind was immersion pure - there was always something else to be done or something more to be achieved. But the gameplay was excruciatingly annoying. Seriously. Walking somewhere for hours being tormented by 1430 cliff racers on the way and the worst possible menu were just a few of the things you had to endure. But still the game was epic.
In Oblivion and Skyrim they really got the gameplay working - with some downsides as well of course, but overall a huge improvement. But for some reason, the immersion got a little lost on the way.
Lets hope they find it soon.
