This has got to be THE best explanation on working out mod conflicts, here's hoping you've solved my issue as well. If not, and I have to start a knew character, you've made it much safer to install mods

Thanks saamziel, this worked perfectly for me! I've been having the black screen crash every 5-40 min in various places and was beginning to think it was going to be unplayable :wallbash: . I tried so many suggestions and spent probably more time trying to fix the game than actually playing it until I tried your suggestion as almost a last resort. Ive played for about 10 hours in 3 days and not one crash :D

I had the same problem I suggest, if you have one, reverting back to an earlier save before you installed your mods and try again once you gain your trainer companion one mod at at time. I made my game unplayable by installing too many mods at once and after hours of uninstall and reinstall of mods ended up completely reinstall Skyrim an installing mods after the character creation. Also just a tip, get BOSS to reorder your mods and always read and follow the mods install instructions and compatibility issues. Hope this helps
