  1. I recently discovered how to use - at least for the most part - NMM to improve my already amazing Skyrim experience. However, as is to be expected when one is new to something, I have hit some obstacles that, at the moment, I am at a loss as to how to overcome. Example: I downloaded the Dragonball Overhaul Project 2 mod (Possible misnomer as I cannot recall offhand the exact title) that said it comes with a "bat" file. However, when I installed said mod via NMM, said bat file appeared to not have been concurrently installed. I attempted to utilize said bat file via console commands per instructions upon installation but received an error message claiming that said bat file was unable to be opened or found. Further, when I try to create my own spells via Creation Kit, I cannot - for some annoying reason - make my spells able to be dual-cast. I can cast them with either hand but not both together. I've tried every combination I know and nothing works. I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone can kindly offer. I am very new to modding so please be kind in your responses. Don't be condescending or treat me like I'm dumb or naive. I have an IQ of 145 but my computer knowledge is currently limited as my schooling is currently being directed elsewhere.
  2. Ok, I am very new to modding. The only way I know how to install mods is via Steam Workshop. I was finally able to install NexusModManager only yesterday so I have no idea how to use it to install mods. There is a specific Mod I want to install - hence the title of my query. Lol. I cannot remember the exact name of the mod offhand - I think it is something along the lines of "Dragonball Overhaul" or the like. In any case, I click on "Install using NMM" and it claims to install, but when I start Skyrim, it's as if nothing has changed. The mod does not take into effect at all. I am assuming it is something I am doing wrong as I have never done this before. Can anyone please help me? For ease of discussion, I'll say this up front: I am using Windows XP with Service Pack 3. I am using Windows XP via BootCamp on my iMac Snow Leopard. I hope that does not make a difference on the performance of said mods. Further: I am very new to modding so I have almost literally no clue what I am doing. Ergo, if someone can help me, I am going to need step-by-step instructions from beginning to end. Please include steps which you may think are obvious. I look forward to any potential advice. :-) May the Lord be with you all.
