http://support.bethsoft.com/eng/resolution...I&rid=15400 I went into device manager and uninstalled the microsoft eHome device driver, since it wouldn't allow me to disable it, and now I can access the console. I'm running vista 64 bit on my laptop and had this problem with oblivion too, but I found a mod that circumvented the issue. Note the italicized/bold text in the quotation. Hope this helps.
