For months, I've had a persisting problem with NPCs, namely the bandits and forsworn of Skyrim. They either have a discolored head or vertical lines down their face or hairline.I have exported FaceGenData for skyrim.esm and all DLCs, as well as culprit .esp's. I have been using Nexus Mod Manager for mod installation on most mods, but something has happened where all files are in place whether they show installed on NMM or not. I am trying to avoid having to wipe everything clean and start all over by fixing this one persisting and elusive issue, but countless attempts have accomplished no solution. if anyone has any advice, please share it. The cryptic answer for fixing my heavily modded Skyrim still eludes me. Certain NPCs, particularly forsworn and bandits, have grid lines on their face and/or have a head of different color. I have dug through TES5Edit and failed to find the source of the conflict. I have exported all FaceGenData for Skyrim.esm and all DLCs. The problem persists. I have tried disabling all the mods that mess with FaceGenData, but it changed nothing. Is there anyone, perhaps someone with experience in this area, who has advice as to how I can fix this one issue which has kept me from enjoying this awesome game for months? Web searches and countless attempts to remedy this annoyance have done me no good up to this point and I have no idea as to what needs to be done.

How do I "reinstate/refresh the games files?"

I installed Diverse Skyrim via Nexus Mod Manager which jacked up my facegendata on all npcs, especially bandits/forsworn. Somehow, the mod stayed manually installed after some weird stuff happened with NMM switching profiles and reinstalling all my mods while my memory was filled up on the hard drive. Long story short, the files are stuck in place and I don't know how to reset the facegendata back to default and successfully remove Diverse Skyrim entirely. Tried the whole export facegendata in CK but it no work so I need some advice. Haven't been able to figure this out and enjoy my game for a long time now. Thanks y'all.

I can't figure it out and it's infuriating. Forsworn NPCs have different colored heads with grid lines. Ctrl+F4 in the CK doesn't work. I went through everything that alters facegendata. 'Ey all. have an annoying glitch where squares of interiors will shadow out depending on camera rotation or position. Tried putting ELFX higher then lower on my load order to no avail. Any help is immensely appreciated.

Hey Everyone. Two major problems are preventing me from fully enjoying my heavily modded Skyrim experience. I have spent uncounted hours trying to even locate the source of the problems I face with my game, and my efforts have been fruitless. I addressed the other in a previous post regarding a mysterious malfunction in my ENB's depth of field feature. I recently downloaded the mod Dance For You - Dance For me. It's a fun mod and I highly recommend it if you want to see an NPC do some belly dancing for you. BUT for me, something weird happened . For some unknown reason, now only 1 out of the 3 dance animations work and the others merely result in T-poses. I have tried reinstalling it via NMM, fully uninstalling and deleting it and then reinstalling it, installing it 100% manually, all the while being sure to update my FNIS behaviors through every re-installation. I CANNOT figure out why 1 animation works and the other 2 do not. After I first got the mod, I made some modifications to the conditions so that only my character's spouse would get the dialogue option to do the dances. I also deleted the "dance for you" dialogue because my charcter is serious and doesn't do that sort of thing. The problem first emerged when I renamed the original file I downloaded and tried to put it in NMM after being renamed. I then disabled my modified version of the mod and activated the renamed (original form) of the mod. I don't know how the hell that jacked it up, but I think that's what did it. I have tried deleting everything I could find in the Nexus Mod Manager Mods folder, the Virtual install, putting the mod folder directly into Data and the afore mentioned endeavors. What's infuriating is that the mod worked relatively fine before (there were still issues with it working with my follower - sometimes the dialogue options would simply not work which was annoying), but now it is all jacked up and is currently sucking balls and irritating me in the process. My extensive thanks to any who read this and have any info as to how I can fix this. I've put too much time into modding this game to have crap like this ruin it, so I'm hoping I can just fix it and be done with modding. I've reached the end of the road and I'm sick of putting so much time into something that's supposed to be an outlet to relax. Thanks again for any helpful advice.

Hey, everyone. There are two major errors keeping me from enjoying my heavily modded Skyrim that I have poured hours of my life into figuring out to no avail. The major one is the mysterious and sudden malfunctioning of my ENB's depth of field feature. I would love to solve the issue as DoF magnifies my Skyrim experience by adding its beautiful aesthetic. For no apparent reason, especially on the side of a cliff, the screen will blur up as if something is directly in my character's face. The latest mods I've added is Dance For Me - Dance For You (Which is my other major issue), No Spinning Death Animation, Daedric Cloaks, and Culling Data Glitch Fix. I feel like I started seeing the issue after Culling Data Glitch Fix, but I've completely uninstalled and even deleted the mod and the problem persists. I have no idea where to pinpoint the source of my anguish. The depth of field feature works mostly fine, it just blurs up seemingly at random, or mainly when looking over the edge of a cliff. It's annoying, I hate it, it wasn't there and I want it gone. Any help would be IMMENSELY appreciated. I've been looking for a good facial hair mod which adds a Prince of Persia - Sands of Time style goatee. It'd be the perfect touch to my young hero.

Just a quick question. There's a particular facial hair in the Beards Mod that I'd like modified to meet my preference. How is it possible to say, remove a bushy mustache and leave the chin goatee? I'd post a picture of the exact beard I'm referencing, but I guess I'd have to upload it somewhere and provide a link.

I can change hair styles, but a vanilla hairstyle will remain present the whole time, blending with modded styles. How can I fix this?
