If I could get a handle on modding I wouldn't be here asking for help.
-
That makes other changes which I'm on the fence about. I'd like it to just uncap the specials and nothing more.
-
Not after a bat file. I want to get around all of that. Just a simple mod that removes the cap of 10 on the SPECIALS. That's all.
-
Having to open console and issuing the commands gets old. I just want the specials uncapped that's all.
-
What I want is to be able to do a specialist run where you only can use one special. Like say only agility and agility perks. If there are no perks I want to keep dumping the points into agility. I can do it through console but purging unused points and setting AV every level takes the fun out of it fast lol
-
Yeah but dumping points in a special past 10 is a fiasco as you play I use setav when I start a run. What I want is to just remove the cap of 10. Not adjust leveling speed.
-
Can someone make a mod that uncaps SPECIALS. Like so you can put all 21 at the start in one SPECIAL if you want. So you don't have to waste them in things like perception and intelligence when really only agility has any real effect on gameplay. There are mods that give you all kinds of points at the start but none that simply take away the cap at 10.

Can someone with the modding knowledge make it so you can get Danse to 100% affinity without having to do a brotherhood ending. I haven't been to see Virgil yet and I'd like to do an Institute ending but Danse is hung at 99.9% until endgame when you have to choose to kill him or spare him. There is no lore or dialogue reason for this and it would break nothing but I don't know how to do the mod myself. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

"Timeing is Everything" like mod for Fo4?
DreamSinSmoke replied to skyrimlover1212's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
The "no quest autostart" series of mods are exactly what you're asking for. Also you may want to edit the title since it is timing not timeing. -
I'm honestly surprised this doesn't already exist and I'm fairly certain it would be one of the most downloaded mods if it did. Can a mod be made to either eliminate the settler help quests like "you gotta help my sisters been kidnapped" or at least assign a plausible radius to them? For example tonight I got one at Sanctuary where the settler was at Medford hospital. First that is so far away it isn't even possible so it destroys any immersion but moreover they happen almost every time you visit any of your settlements. I know it is a big factor putting a lot of players off settlements in general. I think the community would be overjoyed for such a mod I just lack the ability to make it myself.

Fix beds that aren't usable.
DreamSinSmoke replied to DreamSinSmoke's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
I did and I am using it thanks for the suggestion. It however leaves me with one question. All the couches in the game are objects and not part of the precombines but the beds aren't? almost doesn't seem plausible knowing Bethesda! -

You all make good points, thanks. I guess it's more in my head than anything. If I can put down a sleeping bag to save I'll do it all the time and make survival too easy. Really with the increase in damage you do the limit on saving is the only thing that makes survival harder. At least that's how I feel. -
Fix beds that aren't usable.
DreamSinSmoke replied to DreamSinSmoke's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
I never thought they weren't real beds or part of the precombines. I just wanted to find a way to be able to prevent losing hours of progress on survival without using "cheat" mods. I know you can save on survival but I'll admit that always turns into save abuse. -
Is there any chance someone can make a mod that makes the beds you can't activate/use like the ones in the run down portion or vault 81 where you find curie usable. This is particularly frustrating on survival when you see a bed but can't catch a much needed save.

No interest in any of the suggestions I've posted here. Guess I'm an outlier.

I've been trying to figure this out since 2016. I can not figure it out. Can someone please make a mod that calms down the radius of mines a little so it is somewhat realistic and believable. I shouldn't be two cars away from a mine and have it destroy me!
-
What mod changes the description to "Melle distance is doubled" I have no mods that should alter this and I was hoping not to have to uninstall 150 mods one by one to figure it out.
-
I'm not going to download and try the Amanda mod because companions aren't my thing but the very first word in the description is "voiced" possible it has been updated since you last downloaded it?
-
I'm guessing no one does stealth runs? Seems like there's little interest lol!

I agree with #1 100% I don't use Dogmeat as a companion so I have no horse in that race. I think if someone made a patch for "scrap everything" that made the previously unscrapable foundations walls roads and such require a third step to delete they would be the Fallout modder of the year and they would have books written about them. There isn't a user of that mod alive that hasn't worked hours on a settlement and then accidentally scrapped a chunk of the road or a foundation and lost all that work.

Can someone who understands outfit studio or whatever is required take the shoes off the checkered shirt and slacks and set it to use the barefoot footstep sounds from that mod. Seems there are few clothing mods that have patches for "barefoot footstep" but it has a very measurable effect on stealth and the checkered shirt being the best vanilla outfit for stealth it would be a match made in heaven. I've tried to get existing barefoot outfits to work with barefoot footstep and even though that author provides a screen grab that is a "how to" I can not get it to work. I'm no modder just have done some presets. Thanks to anyone that wants to take this up or provide patches for any existing clothing mods that have bare feet.
