Look at Bben's comment, I searched for Terry Pratchet playing Oblivion. I found an interview in which he states that he does not think that Discworld will make a very good Rpg, and wouldn't advocate it. I would still ask him, if you are able to get a hold of him (he gets quite a lot of fan-mail as you may imagine), but bear this in mind. Just trying to help... :)

@BeHughes To be honest, there aren't that many criteria to being sponsored. The only thing I have to know is if the project is going to be finished even without the intervention of people on this thread. This is to allow people to HELP without a modder having to do all of the work. If you can assure me that your project is making good ground, I can sponsor it. That kind of sharing resources is exactly what I was talking about btw.

Should I get it for pc or console? help
ThoseTolerableNoobs replied to sergiovi's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Yeah, I imagine people on the modders sight would the Consoles...I should have thought about that before I opened my mouth lol  Just to clarify, I'd obviously missed off a word or two when I said 'Consoles are more enjoyable'. I edited the post, but I'd like to point out that I don't think that, just that they offer different things which I enjoy in different scenarios. I'd play Skyrim on PC, but I'd never play MW3 on PC if you get what I mean... -
Should I get it for pc or console? help

Well you were kind of doing the same thing when you listed Xbox Live as a con. Going slightly off topic, consoles are more accessible, and more enjoyable for some. You can mock them for being casual gamers, but most people don't want to sit down, wait for the game to install, and then fix the innevitable CTD bugs in PCs that aren't present in the Consoles. Also, that article pertained to skill, he said they were mediocre players, but then they were mediocre for PC. All it did was back up my point. The PC gamers were on superior systems, and the console gamers were, well, on console. It was unfair on the console gamers because hardware wasn't uniform... I respect where you're coming from, but there's too much hate from the PC market for the Console market, and vice versa. From a hybrid, like me's point of view, neither are inferior, and neither should be ridiculed, they're all good a different things. That kind of hate seems to happen a lot in video games, just look at the response to The Elder Scrolls Online... The reason I jumped in to defend xbox live is that I find non-subscribers think that the subscription fee is unjustified and that it isn't worth it, whereas most people I know who have it love the system, especially those who've used PSN or even Steam... -

No offense Bben, you usually make some really good comments on here :) but have you ever actually played a console for any length of time? You've put Xbox Live as a con, but you haven't quantified it. I think Xbox Live is leagues better than anything offered by any other platform, and is well worth the sub fee (only 1 extra game a year). It's well laid out, constantly updated, and allows you to easily play games, talk with friends privately OR publicly at the push of a button, and best of all, everyone has the same hardware so that the game is a little fairer than on PC (aside from lag, no one can fix lag). Plus, most people don"t want to customise their PC and change the hardware, as they find it complicated, boring and expensive. While Consoles have crap graphics, that's, in my eyes, the only clincher. That and mods, which is what this site is about. Everyone loves mods. I still stick by what I said earlier, OP, buy it for your PS3, as your hardware isn't strong enough for you to see much difference, and many mods require high preformance. Or better still, buy a cheap 2nd hand Xbox to replace your PS3, Xbox Live is better than PSN, and there are fewer issues on Xbox. And there's going to be Xbox Exclusive Skyrim content soon, which makes me glad I hung on to by Xbox copy when I bought the PC version. -
Who's Side are you in the War?

@Above That's all very well and good, but Skyrim breaking away means there even weaker than the whole Empire was fighting the Dominion. If the whole empire couldn't win, then Skyrim surely couldn't. Also, when you go the Thalmor embassy you find out that Ulfric is doing exactly what the Thalmor want him to do. They want a weaker empire, and a weaker Skyrim, so they can overthrow them both. Skyrim wouldn't found a new Empire once broken away, otherwise when the Thalmor get bored they'll be fighting a 2-front war. The Stormcloaks bang on about how 'we'll be stronger alone' but it's bulls***. They'll just have on extra God and elves tea-bagging their sorry corpses -

Steam works activation is not required on Xbox or PS3. There is no activation, you just pop the disc in and play :) -
Thanks! I did approach Chisiokage to voice a character in a questline mod, true Lichdom, for which I am the writer. Unfortunately he wasn't enthusiastic about free voice work :(, and I don't blame him. I would also like to say that I downloaded Moonpath on Steam, and I thought that it was excellent, although my frame rate took a massive fall lol. Thanks for the offer of textures :)

I'm on the Imperial Side. It makes more sense in the lore. The Thalmor are the really enemy, and they're strong. The Stormcloaks aren't looking at the big picture. They can sacrifice public Talos worship, and keep the Empire in 3 provinces, biding the time until Hammerfell rejoins the Empire (hopefully on a truce), and the Empire can match the Dominion. If Skyrim succeeds from the Empire, then they're isolated, and venerable to the Dominion, as is Cyrodiil and High Rock. Besides, during the campaign, it's revealed that Ulfric is just the Thalmor's uncooperative sleeper agent, and he's doing exactly what they want. -

Also, what do you mean console for graphics, PC for mods. Didn't anyone ever tell you EVERY game looks 100x better on PC than on antique console hardware... -
Should I get it for pc or console? help

I bought it on console first, and then swapped to PC. If they hadn't released it on console, I'd have never been introduced to TES. And it hasn't always been a PC Series, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim were on Xbox and PlayStation. There's a loyal fan base on those platforms who would be looking to give you a black eye right about now... On topic, and @ OP, I would recommend picking it up on PC normally, but given your specs, a safer bet is to get it on console. You may be without mods, but at least it keeps you honest. When I played on console, I got to level 40 legitimately, without power levelling, but on PC, the number of times I've said 'eff it, I'm spawning this thing' is unbelievable! -
Hello, I bought Morrowind on steam today, looking to take advantage of the 50% off offer. However, I am confused as to what to do, what race to play, skills to pick etc. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to play the game. I know the plot roughly, as I did some research to understand Skyrim (not that it was really relevant) so if it is necisariy, anyone kind enough to help me can reference the plot. I will write out my questions in a numbered format below, but I don't mind any deviations from them (after all, beggars can't be choosers!). 1) What Race should I pick? 2) What major/minor skills should I pick 3) What starting equipment should I buy 4) Where should I go out of Seyda-Neen Note: I have the Morrowind Overhaul 2.0 mod Thanks in advance Thanks in advance,

There will be other Liches in the main questline, in fact, they are integral to the plot. It focuses around these other Liches and your role within their group. -

I don't know if that was a suggestion, but I suppose I should point out that your life as a Lich won't be that...menacing. You will strike fear into people when they see you coming, and you will have several methods of wreaking havock, but the main questline focuses around you learning about and transforming into a Lich and then uncovering an...irregularity in the Lich Guild. We will implement several side quests where you can exercise your need to be cruel and malevolent, but the core quest will not have this feel.
