  1. I agree with both. Still want something that has a nice sounding to its abbreviation too. Wardens of the Wastelands would be either: "WAW", "WATW" or even "WARWA". It just does not ring. :/
  2. Hahaha, thanks for the feedback. Here are my thoughts: - Wardens sound like a pretty cool name, yet not too complex and has meaning to it. - Cerebrus? Here is the definition I found for it: Well, I am not completely sure. Would make a lot more sense if I re-wrote the story a little bit. Plus, it's a bit too fantasy sounding in my opinion. Could well work as some sort of metaphor, however. :D
  3. I see, can't recall that from the BoS storyline, but I guess you are right. Been some time since I played now, but guess I will have to come up with a new name! In fact, I actually have a few already. Sat for 20 minutes coming up with multiple options for a proper name, ended up with this one. Other names were: - Saints of Commonwealth - Commonwealth Security - Merrywealth Security (Yeah, I made that one up just now) Any feedback on those? Edit: Heck, even Security of Commonwealth, sounds more like a information sheet though. :(
  4. needs to reduce boldness. the color helps but still getting autokinesis from it. I can change the font, no worries. Edit: Updated! Let me know what you think know. I may update the title banner anytime soon, give me some time.
  5. So you are saying the entire intro of all Star Wars movies made people instantly turn the movie off? :D I don't have an issue with yellow/gold, but if you say so!
  6. Wait, where did you hear/read this? I do recall Howard saying during the E3 presentation: "..you then emerge 200 years later as the sole survivor of Vault 111". [video=youtube]
  7. I was thinking about this. That empty pod may offer some crazy future expansion or story. Also something to point out: [video=youtube] Falloutception!
  8. Hello, everyone! Here is a little faction idea I have for Fallout, came up with this while at work today and started noting down some general details about it. Nothing major, yet, and this simply serves as a placeholder/base for what may be realized in the future. This is not a finalized description of the faction, but most of the current information are true. Let me know what you think about it! Oh, and forgive my fancy use of the Star Wars font, I am just overly attracted to it. Also, I am not a perfect English writer, so please forgive my lack of using better words! UPDATES: 1. Changed text from gold-ish to white. (08/04/16 - 23:47 GMT+1) 2. Changed the font from the Star Wars one to Exo. Also fixed some grammar errors. 9. Nor do I, but I hope it reaches console players' expectations. Wonder how it will be like, it's not like you can put a mod manager on console. :O Hope Bethesda manages to pull it off properly.
  10. Yes, the VRamSizeTest tool is what is promoted in the video and what he says is very similar to what that box says Alright, cheers. I have a question, do you happen to know if there is any way to make the shader avoid affecting the UI? It is terrible how the UI gets distorted when turning the camera to various angles, and it is really just constantly blurry. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=660199094 That is how it looks like. I actually don't have this issue but there may be several solutions. First, there is a setting in your graphics settings that has to do with blur. You can play without ENB but still use a shader. The ENB could be doing that as well. The shader should not be doing that though, ENB adds a ton of little effects to the game that you will only experience with ENB enabled, like cool sparkles and stuff. Alright, I will let you know when I have enabled the ENB. Just came home from work and my game is finished downloading. Oh and there are quite a few weather affects as well that will blur the s*** out of your screen. Like heatwave makes it all look like you took LSD. Theres time warp, which will do some crazy s***. And others, check out the video for Nuclear Weather on his page. I see, will keep that in mind, thanks! Just encountered another issue, my NMM refuses to recognize the Fallout4.ini file, claiming it does not exist. Someone up there really don't want me to mod my Fallout, jeez. However, I have decided to do a little twist on this mod compilation and simply just use it as a reference to mods that I may find interesting. Found a shader and ENB preset which are not that exaggerated and is more performance friendly. Tweaked my .ini settings (which may have caused this NMM not recognizing the file issue) according to a decent guide and video as well. However, I think shaders and ENB should be installed in the end because the performance all matters on how many mods you got and I believe it is easier to tweak after having a benchmark of mods you want to use. We will see how this goes! The reason I put it first is because its the most complicated part to install. If you install the entire list and then screw up the one part thats complicated you usually have to erase it all and start from scratch. You can always go back and tweak it once all your mods are installed. As for the .ini that is easily searched. I can't remember the last time I had to fix that Yeah, I guess you are right about the ENB. The .ini fixed itself somehow, or in the process of something else. The .ini has gone through several changes now, pretty sure it won't have any problems once the toolkit comes out. I feel like thats the point where Bethesda will really open up for modding. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. They were going to enable modding on console too, right?

  12. Isn't NXPF dependent on SK? I would try to uninstall SK and load it after NXPF. Edit: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3767665-ten-rules-to-get-a-mod-setup-with-a-lot-of-workshop-crafting-mods-to-work/ That's all you need to know I guess. :D
  13. There is nothing wrong with your name. :D
  14. Whenever I open Nexus Mod Manager, it keeps telling me that the Fallout4.ini file does not exist despite me having checked multiple times and it's there. Anybody else had this issue? The only things I have done after my fresh install was installing ENB and tweaking some settings within the .ini files, I don't see how this should affect it however. http://i.imgur.com/TRjIkaY.png http://i.imgur.com/hX93BTI.png EDIT: Solved the issue!

  18. Awesome, thanks for the quick response. Did you catch the thing about VRAM I referenced though? Getting that right could serve as a major performance boost as far as I am concerned. You should totally check out the S.T.E.P guide if you haven't, whenever you have time. It really goes in detail about performance specific to your respective specs when installing such a huge compilation. :) Edit: I just saw what you wrote about VRAM. Typing on a shitty mobile device here and it is hard to stay updated on such rapid edits. :) Well, if you feel that is working out, I guess it does! :)
  19. Are you using the shader? And did you install it correctly? Do you have the DLC? And you definitely want to start a BRAND NEW game if you are having trouble loading saves. Did you set your VRam to 20000 and do you have 8GB of RAM of more? Did you install anything extra that isn't on my list? Those are the big questions. As for LOOT, I don't personally use it like I said in the list, and that is simply because I read that it isn't kept up to date, and I add mods everyday almost. So I feel like it would be inaccurate. Some mods have ESPs that automatically switch themselves around in the load order, I don't know why. But when I install this list I install everything exactly as it says to, and do not adjust my load order other than what it does by itself. I then use this list as a reference when updating my mods (usually once a week), and place them in the load order as they appear on the list. I don't have any issues other than some regular CTD errors involving the DLC that MANY people are experiencing and workarounds can be found very easily by searching your issue. Other than that, when I installed this list I wasn't taking any chances. For the most part I used trusted authors and authors that created mods I had previously used in Skyrim because I am very fond of their work. When I look at what a mod has to offer I have to ask myself if the SIZE of that mod is worth not being able to put more mods in the game. You won't experience it at first, but the longer you use a single playthrough the longer your load times will get and if you have to many HUGE mods your game will basically stop completely when loading. I also have to take into consideration the type of DLC that we know about coming out. I didn't put any robot related mods in the list because I knew that the first DLC was going to be heavily robot related. No used in putting mods in the game just to remove a large portion when the DLC comes out. The next one is based heavily around Settlement Building so I decided to wait until that comes out to see what type of stuff I am going to have to remove already. I already know of 4 or 5 mods getting replaced by that DLC. The number one thing that turns me away from a mod, is the size of the BUG tab though, and those huge mods seem to have a lot of bugs. Did I use the shader Yes, I installed this compilation from top to bottom, including the optional mods. Did I install it correctly Despite not having any proof or trace of error in my memory or physically/virtually, I am pretty certain I followed all the instructions correctly and followed the instructions within each mod accordingly. Do I have the DLC Yes, I do! I am pretty sure my game was entirely clean because I did not play the game after last time I re-installed from scratch because of a similar issue. I did set my VRAM to 20000, but I believe it is relevant to reference something within Skyrim's S.T.E.P compilation which says the following: [MEMORY] ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false ReservedMemorySizeMb=512 ;This value should be set to lowest possible value without experiencing stutter. See advanced guide above for more information. VideoMemorySizeMb=<integer in MB> Users should download and run Boris's VRamSizeTest tool. Run the VRamSizeDX9.exe. Windows 7 users subtract 170 from the value provided and use that value. Windows 8/10 users subtract 350 and use thatNot sure whether these instructions are specific to the game itself or actually "global" so to speak, Fallout 4 does run on the same engine as Skyrim nonetheless. Do I have 8GB of RAM or more Yes, I have 16GB of RAM. Did I install anything extra I did not. Regarding LOOT, I am not too experienced with it except I have been using it a lot for S.T.E.P as it is pretty much a prerequisite and have had little to no issues with it. I am surprised that it is not being much updated, it is a very popular tool among modders. Nevertheless, I am not too updated on the matter myself so I will probably ditch LOOT for my next attempt if what you are saying is true. I am however still a bit concerned about the load order, specifically regarding the mods I quoted in my previous comment, Settlement Keywords | By: StuykGaming and Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource | By: valdacil. I would just like to know if there is any specific reason these mods are on the bottom, cause I am very certain that mods which depend on these have to be loaded after, so I have been taught. Speaking of the DLC and the upcoming ones. It does seem like Bethesda have been peeking into the modding community and looked at the mods which have been created, then probably thought to themselves: "Hey! That is a great idea, let us make our own version of it and completely replace that mod." Now, I am not sure whether this is a good thing or not, maybe I am even overthinking it and they are not even one inch concerned about what is happening over here. I am not too concerned myself, however. If they add new content into the game, whatever it may be, modders will always be on the front and modify it to its core. I will let Fallout 4 download overnight along with the DLC and start over again tomorrow when I got time. Thank you a lot for the response however, I will continue to update you in case I come across any issues during my second attempt!
  20. That actually sounds like a pretty cool idea, lol. Plenty of non-lore friendly mods out there, people still use them. What about a complete glowing sea revamp? Custom quests, secret areas, etcetera.
  21. God dangit, five hours and I am finally done installing this mod compilation. Can't remember if S.T.E.P even took me that long, haha. I will now be heading in-game and testing the mods both seperately and together. Before that however, I would like to ask what made you exclude few top rated mods such as Full Dialogue Interface & Armorsmith Extended? I do agree that Armorsmith Extended is a hassle to install as it basically features compatibility mods for most equipment out there (warning: also includes traumatic multi-way compatibility modding). I want to use your setup however as a base to expand and customize on as I feel there are too many mods out there which are too important to be left out. But yeah, as I mentioned, compatibility patching is pain and having to backtrack through your load order to find mods you have to re-install to be compatible with new ones is awful. I digress, this list has served as a huge motivation factor to mod my game properly and really go in depth to check any missing detail within the game. Now I am off back to the Commonwealth and check if my five hours of modding was worth it! P.S: Ouch! Tried to run the game and instant CTD after attempting to load a save game from within Vault 111 right at the start before exiting it. No mods were present on this save, but I will try again without loading that save. - Before starting the game, I sorted my mods with LOOT, let's see how this goes. - Okay so, I ran LOOT and everything seemed alright. Opened up the game yet again and tried to start a new game, insta-CTD. I will try to figure out where this issue occurs, though it really bothers me because I have been following your guide to its minor detail and I am not sure whether this is a technical problem with my computer or your compilation. I will also be going through previous comments here and check if anybody had similar issues. - Alright, I will not put myself through this backtracking as I have done multiple times before with no luck. I will delete all the mods, perform a fresh re-install of Fallout 4 and download the mods again, this time checking every mod before continuing. Was wondering however, why is Settlement Keywords | By: StuykGaming and Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource | By: valdacil on the bottom? Not that it's an issue if you have LOOT or just manually order them, cause I have the feeling they should be on the top considering there are mods in your list which depend on these, therefore should be loaded prior to them. Correct me if I am wrong, please! Essentially what I want to do is go through the fresh-install process and thereafter fix/adjust any technical aspects of the vanilla game, such as getting my base options right and playing around with my GFX settings. 22. Its a hobby for now, working on one with all glowing mods as well to make a Tron/Avatar/Tim Burton wasteland. But it will be a while before its complete due to the fact that there are only so many glowing mods at the moment. That sounds awesome man. :D By the way, found a removed mod in your list: Vintage Vampire Pool Table | By: PruKatt Crap, i've been told like 3 times but I keep forgetting to remove it lol. Thanks though You're welcome. :) I am doing benchmarks for each section right now, I will give you feedback when I am done.

  24. I love this. Had a great mod setup few months ago, but the mods got updated and suddenly many got incompatible with eachother. Keep this updated and it will be as popular as Skyrim's S.T.E.P!
