Sorry for the late reply, thanks. Man id love to know why this happened, its not a bug ive ever experienced before, nor is it listed on any of the wiki's

Im trying to do the Toying with the Dead quest but when i pick up Arondil's journals the quest will not update. It only updates on journal 4 and not 1-3 so im stuck at 1/4 journals collected. Ive tried exiting/rentering the dungeon, going back several saves etc. Ive gone back and talked to vekel and come back to try and grab the journals but nothing seems to work. Any ideas? ive done some googling but i havnt found anyone else with this issue so far. :ohmy:

I cant seem to fix this, ive tried 5 or 6 video drivers, and 2 reinstalls. Literally the only "main" thing that is new to my install is Dragonborn and ive made sure i have the correct versions or patches for my mods with DB. Is DB and/or 1.9.32 this freaking unstable? Unbelieveably frustrating.

Its gotta be my install, started yet another new game with no mods enabled at all and it still crashes

Oh boy! Another CTD thread! Sorry guys I browsed the first 5 pages or so of this forum and couldnt quite find anyone with the same issue. I just recently bought dragonborn and decided to reinstall (I also started a fresh game) but ever since ive been having somewhat random CTD's. They happen in interiors/exteriors/rain/shine/snow/day/night/inventory screens etc. Basically everywhere. They happen anywhere from as soon as i start my game up to after over an hour of playing. I have not experienced a crash on zone change or loading screens or on startup. I am starting to think that the game just did not install correctly from steam but I am not sure. My save file over the course of ~150 saves is still about 7.5mb. I have papyrus logging enabled and every crash when I check the log the last lines are totally different when I check for last script ran. I have also tried several different load orders from totally hand done to the raw boss order and nothing seems to affect it. Here are my current ESP's from boss this morning (Minus wet and cold and Birds and Flocks as I un-installed them last night trying to troubleshoot) - And the ends of the last 4 Papyrus logs - System specs - I also have quite a few texture mods installed from the STEP guide (HD2K etc.) but none of this is anything I havnt run before with no crashing, the only recent addition is Dragonborn. This is really driving me up a wall now. Ill get more info if you need it. *EDIT* Heres my INI's if youre curious, pretty vanilla. Skyrim SkyrimPrefs

Sounds like it would be pretty awesome. Though I think it would be a perfect excuse to add back in or create some Morrowind caliber "artifacts" and not just normal lore friendly mods. Items of strange enchantments or incredible power are decidedly lacking in Skyrim IMO :) .
