  1. Using Rudy ENB for Catherdral Weathers along with a few graphical mods like texture city overhauls at the time of taking this for SSE. Along with SFO. It still does it even without Real Water Two installed It can get annoying but I would like to know if there is a fix? Or is my Skyrim broken I can't test Vanilla because I'l never play it without an ENB. And I cant test it right now because I've put in a good few hours and just want to play through.

    Cheers

Edit: forgot to mention it does it... Cleaned/uncleaned... Modded/Unmodded.

  2. Yes. Making a compatibility patch for moving/deleting objects is relatively easy, but you need to understand how to load up the required data files and manipulate objects in the render window of the CK.

Installation and setup of the CK:

    Make the CK stable:

    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20061

    Using the CK:

That should be everything that you need, more or less.

If a mod that you are patching has a bsa, then you need to register that bsa in the Creation Kit ini file (in the Skyrim directory) under the sResourcesArchiveLists section otherwise the CK won't load those assets into the render window.

All that might seem a bit daunting, but being able to make your own compatibility patches really makes it worthwhile.

Thanks for all your help I'll most likely be back in a few days screaming its all gone wrong. But If I can make a patch for these two mods wow I can't wait to see what happens.

  3. I recently started modding Skyrim again and installed two must have mods, Dawn Of Skyrim and WiZkiD Parallax Farmhouse mods. With the two installed I get various purple and black looking posts and stone walls in Dawnstar not all just some areas and buildings, but it's really annoying. Since DOS uses ESP and BSA files and Farmhouse uses meshes and textures plus a JK patch. How do I make my own patch? I've zero experience in modding or doing so? My fault I know for not taking the time to learn but I want to try and change that if I can. I'm fed up with downloading a mod and can't use one because it's not compatible with another and there's no patch. I don't know where to start and any advice would be welcome...

    HELP

    Thanks

  4. Been playing Skyrim, for far to long and want to go back to Oblivion. Only problem, I feel like I did when I started modding Skyrim, i.e. no idea.

What are the top 5 mods, that are essential?

ENBS, install the same as Skyrim?

    Any help would be great.

    Cheers!

  5. Using Yaddas ENB and ENB 252, looking great only problem is when I approach a fire soucre at night it dims? I can walk around say Whiterun they all dim on approach walk past them again nothing, go in to a building come out and they all start to dim again?

    Please help!

  6. Been using Kountervibe ENB but it's crippling my system 660Ti 3GB O/C (40fps on it's own and 25-30fps fully modded) , so have gone back to Stakado Cinemascope ENB (with ENB 218, best for performance). Loved the rain effect in Kountervibe, if allowed how can I intergrate just the rain effect (or other effects) in to Stakado's ENB? I am a noob at this please, if you can help, go easy with me...

    Cheers!

  7. Hi

Using Stakado Cinemascope ENB (Real one selected with no grain and ENB 218 with the IMAGINATOR mod), I seem to be having problems with my clouds!

I just started a new game, and noticed I don't seem to get clear sky's any more? Say if I'm in Falkreath at night, it's all cloudy, go in to a building come out and the clouds have gone. It's nice and clear and I can look at the milky way and HD stars... Travel somewhere else, it's all cloudy again and I won't see see another clear day or night for a long time... Is this a problem why my ENB? Or something? Used Tundra ENB and a couple of others but it only seems to happen on this ENB? Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

EDIT: used the set timescale to 2000 and my clouds just appear and disapear at certain times but don't actually move? I don't remember this? Thought they moved?

  8. Can you lower your torch? Still has this?

Could simply be the reflection of your fire... as you see ELFX makes the torch a lot brighter, the light on the ground around you also became a lot brighter.

You can adjust those settings in ENB...

Your sword is super reflective btw... could you try another sword - just to rule out problems with that particular sword?

It seems to happen to all the light sources, even if I lower the torch it becomes dark like it should but you go in to a town and pull out your weapon or any other (hee) it's just blinding! I don't know what the settings are that control it, I thought someone might know what to adjust to get this glare down...

  9. I am using The Wilds ENB 1.5 SKSE Latest and ENB 0139, on a GIGABYTE 660Ti 3GB OC. This pic was taken with 70 mods on the Steam Workshop, no conflicts or anything tried disabling all of then and I still get this image...

I have Just installed 0.2 of Enhanced Light FX and I get this image?

What is causing this bright glow on the sword? It's like this in towns a such from other light sources? I have tried The Wilds 3.0, ENB 0157, 0168, 0185 and these too give off this effect? How can I lower it? Or even change it some how?

    Cheers!

  10. Using 320.18 on my 660Ti 3GB O/C, I noticed when in Windhelm at night certain shadows where flickering on and off, around the city. Patchy areas on the floor, walls, fires and so on, but only in the area close to me like when carrying a torch, turned off every mod and ENB, but it was still doing it? Traced it to the Light Fade slider turned it off, the flickering thing stopped? What is Light Fade, do I need it and can I fix it?

  11. I would not judge my GPU upgrade on Skyrim. Skyrim is really coming to the end of its life (or already surpassed by some counts). Instead, look to the future. A 660 TI card is not much less then a GTX 670. The 670 will give you about a 25% increase in memory bandwidth and bus width. You also get a better fillrate.

The TI is a great card. I had one. THey tend to run a bit hot and require a slighyl larger power supply then your 560. An OC or over clocked card will run hotter.

The 3GB will only pay off dividends in the future and take your card beyond the life span of a 1 or 2 GB card. The type of games you plan to play and other requirements should also go into your decision. Games like Elder Scrolls Online will probably run fine on your 560 card, buit look really good on a 600 series. While that 660 ti may look good playing the up and coming Crysis 3, the 670 will give it a smoother frame rate and be a bit cooler when you would be peaking out your TI card.

I always say get the most you can afford when you make a purchase. Shop smart, but don't skimp on hardware. The better equipment you get, barring a hardware failure, will last longer and give your money back in useability. Newegg.com has great prices and when compared to Amazon.com, you can pretty much see what prices are good or bad. For the record, I think Galaxy puts out great hardware. Usually you can get a THREE year warranty instead of 2 for no extra cost, but you need to jump a few online hoops to register your purchase.

best wishes on your purchase :)

EDIT : looking at your post about SLI - You really should purchase both cards at the same time. As time moves on, roms change, BIOS changes as does hardware and sometimes clocks and card branding. Sure they may run, but may not run effiently. Again, it would be better to purchase the higher rated card if you are going to get just one card at this time. More then likely the second card won't be purchased and you might wish you spent the few extra $$ now.

Oh no now you just made it harder...

For me at the moment the only games I care about are Skyrim and Crysis 2. Not much else really floats my boat. Skyrim is only just getting going, for me at least, all the new graphics mods, quests, improvements and so on. A 670 is defo out of my price range. The gigabyte 660Ti 3GB Super o/c is on a pare with a 670 but has 3 instead of 2GB Vram, a lot less. Crysis 2 I own but not played it, it's just too slow on my 560 and want to play it through at least with 50-60fps, now about 30fps. So just want a good card but wont break the bank/ Cheers for the quick response...

  12. Hey all

My 560Ti just can't handle the mods I have downloaded (like over 150) and will now update to a 660Ti, I want to start using Amidian Born and 2K textures plus a load of like 4K dragon bones, lush grass and so on. Because I have so many other mods I can't live without can't decide which to go for an Asus 2GB 660Ti (maybe go SLI later on) or the Gigabyte 3GB super O/C... How would the 3GB benefit over the 2GB... And is it worth the extra money? Pulling my hair out trying to decide can you help?

    Cheers lads/Ladies!

  13. Hi people...

I have just installed the High Res DLC pack and whilst roaming around in one of the towns/cities the game slows right down from like 50-60fps to about 10 fps?

    Why is it doing this?

I uncheck them in the Data Files folder and all returns to normal... I do like the new HD files and want to keep using them but it's just unplayable when it slows to a crawl.

    Can you help?
