  1. I've finally gotten around to playing Syerscote and it is fantastic! Although I've been anticipating this mod for a while, now I'm rather more excited than ever. This looks to be a great city, despite its alleged gynecological likeness, and I hope the rest of the process goes well for you. If you're still looking for side quest suggestions, how about defending or persuading a group of foolish kids to leave an abandoned bandit fort before an actual troop of bandits claims it? If you don't persuade them to leave, then some may die when the bandits attack.
  2. I'm not sure if this constitutes what you're looking for, but you could add temples. The player could purchase religious artifacts (amulets of the Divines, books, blessed clothes or armor, etc.) and receive a blessing from each of the Nine Divines. Other than that, how about a place for fighters to gather and revel in their accomplishments? It would be like a more relaxed version of the Companions, perhaps with an odd job or two. In fact, you could make it a place for veteran Companions. Drinks, pelts, weapons, armor, and whatever else could be sold there. Those are the only ideas I have at the moment as your list is already quite extensive. Good luck, I hope this helped.
  3. I don't believe I've already commented, so I'll just say that this is a fantastic idea, the amount of detail you've put into this is brilliant, and I look forward to when you finish this (no rush!).
  4. I have no restrictions about killing people in Skyrim due to the wonky AI, but there was one instance of murder that I found disconcerting. My character was riding a horse to Riverwood with Lydia in tow when the shadow of a dragon passed by. Killing dragons was still new to me, so I immediately dismounted and tried to provoke it. Unfortunately, I couldn't get its attention, so I used a shout that I had just learned, Storm Call. Lightning struck the dragon, thus provoking it and initiating a short fight that I happily won. After I took its bones, I looked around for my horse. It was gone. I started walking to Riverwood, when I realized that Lydia was also gone. I went back to the clearing where I slayed the dragon and eventually found the two bodies. I accidentally killed my precious horse and pack mule just to slaughter a dragon, which was only defending itself. That encounter made me think about my power and how easy it was to hurt those around me. I stopped using horses and adopted Uthgerd as my new traveling bag. I was irritated by the loss of my previous companions, but mostly I used the experience as a lesson on the dangers of power and not having a back-up save. _
  5. Here's an odd one from my PS3 version of the game, which was not an ironic purchase, just a very bad one. I encountered a Vigilant of Stendarr on the road to Winterhold, so I quickly killed him for his sweet, sweet loot. I was a necromancer, so I revived him as ironic punishment for condemning the dark arts. However, the real irony occured when we were attacked and he summoned a Flame Atronach.
  6. If you have the time and don't mind the effort, I would recommend you release Elmscreak as a standalone mod. There aren't many mods that add cities and, from what you've said, it sounds complete enough to support its own mod. I say yes, but I don't know how much work it is to repurpose a modded area into its own package. I'll just download Rochebere and get both cities.
  7. I've rather been enjoying the time I've had with the beta and I'm certain others will love the final product when you release it. My female Dunmer actually looks pretty, instead of a giant chin jutting out from under blue wrinkles and giant red eyes. I've made a character of each gender for each elven race to see the distinctions between them, as well as the fantastic warpaints you've added. A brutish Bosmer, villainous Altmer, and regal Dunmer were my favorites. Also, though I didn't think I'd notice them, your noses are one of the greatest changes to the elves. Good job, you've made one of the best aesthetic mods for Skyrim and you did it while remaining true to the lore! No crashes, no conflicts, everything's working fine. The only problem I had was that Extended Slider Colors removed the warpaints you added, but that mod has a tendency to cause trouble.
  8. Huh, I would have expected dialogue and quests to be the most time-consuming part of the mod. It's good to know that you're so close to completion. Fantastic! Not only was that my only minor foible, but now I get to know I contributed a tiny bit to this mod. Thanks for listening!
  9. I never thought that so much would be necessary to overhaul a race! And these are the last changes? Well, kudos to you and I hope to participate in the beta build, but, if not, I'll enjoy the mod when it's released. Good luck!
  10. That is a rather fantastic date, but you need to finish when you're comfortable. Projects like this are why I got Skyrim on the PC, so thank you for making this and for making it well! I do have one problem, but it's an utterly trivial. I think that the Executed Hagraven should be called the Hanged Hag. The first is a tad too long, but it's a minor contrivance. Otherwise, the city looks great, plus the main quest and ability to change the city are quite intriguing. Good luck with the final steps!
  11. I'm glad to see that this is nearing completion. It's looked fantastic for quite some time and the more pictures I see, the more I excited I am. I don't know what else you have to work on, but I'd love to help and will be sending you a personal message soon. Like Adaadami, I just wanted to peek in here and express my gratitude. Well done!
  12. Voila! Maegfaer has just uploaded this mod and, thankfully, it works.
  13. Your attention to detail is amazing! I will certainly download this mod as soon as it's finished, good job so far.
