  1. Heyyy Guys, and Girls,, and everything in between and around lol Sooooo... lol, funny story, I didnt even know what nexusmods was, i didnt know anything about anything, came into all of this as stupid as you can get and ignorant hahaha. I RANDOMLY decided to buy Alienwares New R17 with 1070 GTX adapter Laptop bc I got sick of being bored, and then I opened a steam account bought the Bethesda Games, and idk how or why I decided to look into modding but I did and nexus popped up and it wouldnt let me do anything unless I was a member, so I decided to become one and it asked me if I wanted to pay so me always saving money decide to buy the lifetime LOL. I didn't know what I was getting into... well long story shorter,, I found a youtube video about Bevilex Modlist by searching for how to install Oblivion reloaded, Luckily after a few weeks of many failure attempts to modding, the proper instruction and videos being watched and several FACTORY reset of my PC, I finally now know how to use Wrye Bash, Oblivion Mod Manager, BOSS, Nexusmods, and more. I even learned how to Build new files, tweak .ini files using Notepad++ and more. This has been a very interesting few weeks but Bevilex Modlist is installed and beautiful and I just fixed the God Rays issue if anyone is having any on oblivion. Anyways Im Steven, Live in Arkansas, USA, just figured id give a random shout out. Hmu sometime if you needa friend and wanna learn modding together or can give some knowledge and shed light.
  2. I dont know if there has been a thread on this yet, but ill address it anyways. So after installing Bevilex Modlist exactly as stated i realized that God rays was not on no matter how i messed with the .ini files and settings nothing Worked! 1. Go to Steam settings and "in game" tab and disable game overlay tab.. 2. Go in game and start a new game 3. Go to video settings and ENABLE "HDR Lighting!!" 4. When outside in the forest where there is plenty of trees REST or WAIT till 6 p.m. 5. Youll see the God rays now and the sun will be lit up like its suppose to be because of HDR lighting... now Hit "O" on your keyboard and use your arrow keys to go down to Oblivion Reloaded Settings "God Rays"... now... use arrow keys to move over to God Rays settings and when adjusting you have to Use the Enter Key on the Keypad, back space and use the Keypad Numbers to Modify your rays! I Found Adjusting the Density, Length of Rays and Luminescence to my specs has really made me happy God rays is typically only visible at Dusk and Dawn,,, more so at Dawn(5-7pm) Ive done everything and looked everywhere to resolve this issue and so I messed around and sure enough HDR lighting has to be enabled and God rays is visible only at specific times.
  3. UPDATE**** So I had ATT internet service come out and come to find out my line was hooked in a bad area. If you are getting ERROR 520 and cant load nexusmods, call your customer service for your internet provider and see if they can check where your hooked up at and if there is an alternative location for your internet to run off of. Luckily im by two lines and the current line there has been no internet interruptions what so ever Its not Cloudfile, not nexusmods, its not your router, its where your internet is hoooked up outside. Call get it checked and youll be fine.
  4. If you are connected whether WiFi, or Ethernet cable. Go to your router while it is running and rip the damn power cable out of the router. Do not be nice and unplug from the wall... or do anything else. Remove this cord off the router just like I said. Plug back in, let router reboot, once connected DO NOT type in nexusmods.com, instead go to youtube and start watching a video and establish you are connected. Then hit new tab and go to nexusmods log in and VOILA.. Its a router and connection problem!
