  1. Problem there? Need pics for proof? The 7 year old Alienware laptops were designed for futeristic gaming. They're good for games that'll be made in 2015. So in 2015, I'll upgrade. I tried running it on a 1994 computer once. I got smooth 2-7 FPS. Couldn't quite get through the first quest. Your so full of crap it is ridiculous. A 100Mhz computer from 1994 wouldn't even be able to render a single screen from Skyrim within 10 minutes, let alone 7 full frames in a second. The freakin best graphics from back then was Virtua Fighter. Sorry, but your so full of crap its not even worth debating lol. I would have quit while you atleast had people semi-believing you. Now its just out the window.
  2. Actually I, since day 1 of getting this game on the PC, have experienced 0 crashes, 0 real issues. Really the only " bug " or whatever it is, not sure what to call it, I am experiencing is the game window stutters when I am in FPS mode. It is not a FPS drop at all as I have fraps and MSI Afterburner on at all times, showing me my FPS. It is just a jerkiness to the screen. Screen kind of does little millisecond stutters while moving around. Almost like what it does on the PS3 after a long time playing but nothing even remotely close to that horrible. The difference being, when I move out into 3rd person view the camera and movement is smooth as butter. Move back into FPS view and it is again, a bit poppy ... jerky ... not sure what to call it. It is odd, and never read anything about it or seen anything about it. The best thing to relate it to though is what people experience on the PS3 where when you move around it is almost like the game is trying to keep up so it jerks around a bit. But again, only in millisecond intervals and not too horrible. I almost always play in 3rd person view anyway though. Other then that ... nothing to speak on. The mods have all worked fine. The game has never really showcased major bugs that made me go " augh ". I play on full ultra, every slider turned all the way up with 8x AA and 16x Filtering. Distant objects set to full and all that. I have played with various graphic enhancements and have currently about 10 different ones running from both the workshop and here from the Nexus. I can run still at 30-45FPS in the overworld. 25-40 in towns. And usually 50-60 in dungeons. Running an I5-2400 Oc'ed to 3.8Ghz. Radeon 6770 1GB DDR5 OC'ed to 950Mhz. A slight OC on memory clock.
  3. Greetings everyone. First post here so I thought I would try to make it a good one. I have had an idea in my head for awhile now I think would be pretty cool. Would take a bit of work, and unfortunately I have no idea how to do this type of thing or what tools to use so I thought I would throw the idea out there to the modders and see if any of them wanted to pick it up. The idea really stemmed from Ultima Online. I got flashbacks of UO when i heard how smithing would be implemented in Skyrim and how you could go out and grab a pickaxe and mine. One of the coolest smithing features of UO was the ability to create different color armor based on what ingot you used to create the armor. You could make shadow colored platemail, blue colored platemail, green colored platemail, etc. all depending on what type of ingot you used to create that piece of armor. Considering this is exactly what Skyrim does, I thought it could be a fun mod to try and work on. Skyrim uses the same system, just does not take it as far as UO did in the color regard. I thought the easiest way to implement this idea was to give the Smithing field a 3rd option when creating an idea, the same as Alchemy. An optional 3rd ingredient option. So when you go to create some armor you can use your ingot and leather strips as normal but also throw in a 3rd ingredient ( say Steel ingot ). The 3rd ingredient being the addition of the color variant. Whatever color of ingot you use as your 3rd ingot, changes the tone of the armor / weapon that you are making. So if you make, for example, Steel Platemail armor, but using some refined moonstone you could give the steel platemail a dull white color. Same goes for leather and whatnot. Kind of tan / stain the leather armor black using orichulum. Stuff like that. Thats the idea I have had but awhile, but like I said have no way of actually working on it myself. So, if anyone is interested, have at it! I think that would exponentially increase the fun of smithing, by being able to really do whatever you want with your smithing creations.
