Less of a request and more of a "where is one?" cuz I'm sure there's gotta be a mod that does this somewhere. I'm looking for a mod that can change the nasty vampire bat-face for NPC's to the normal head. I'm using Normal Dawnguard Vampire Faces by jm220 which is working great, but it only affects the player. I ran across another one called Beautiful Vampires V2 by DarOne45 that changes NPC's, but it seems like it only does stuff to the specific vamp NPC's already in the game, and I'm really looking for something that does this for followers that I turn myself via the Better Vampires mod by Brehanin. I'm more or less oblivious when it comes to modding, but I guess all that needs to be done is changing the head reference for vamps to use the normal head instead of the vampire head (according to Normal Dawnguard Vampire Faces description), so I'm thinking there's gotta be something like this floating around somewhere, but I couldn't find anything for it.

I had the same problem, but I found the solution (at least for me). The problem was Fores New Idles. I simply didn't have it updated for patch 1.8, and it caused all sorts of animation problems (hitting several times in one strike, attack buttons not responding at all, assuming the T stance in combat and on horses, ect...). Once I updated FNIS everything was completely fixed. I think the reason that downgrading worked was because you downloaded to a patch that your FNIS was compatible with. I'll bet if you update FNIS you'll be fine.

EDIT: I found what I was doing wrong, and my problem's been resolved. Sorry for wasting anybody's time! The version I had of SKSE doesn't support the newest Skyrim patch, so I waited a while and tried to download the new one today. When I try to run it, it still says that it doesn't support the newest Skyrim patch. Am I downloading the wrong thing, or has the version of SKSE that supports this past patch just not been released yet? I ask because when I check out mods that require SKSE, it looks like others are running them right now, making me think I'm just downloading the wrong thing. I just use Gopher's (incredibly helpful) guide on downloading SKSE, so I'm getting it from skse.silverlock.org. It says its compatible with Skyrim 1.8, and I thought that that was the latest one, also making me think I'm doing something wrong. I'm just downloading it from the link on that page, like it says in the guide. If I'm supposed to be downloading something else or doing something wrong, any help would really be appreciated. If the latest SKSE isn't out yet, sorry for wasting anybody's time!

Sort of a request and a "does this mod" exist thing. I was wondering if anyone knew of a mod out there that would replace the hand to hand punching animation with the claw attack animation used by werewolves and vampire lords. The reason I ask is that I'm playing a vampire, and I always thought that, having claws themselves, it'd be much more realistic for my vampire to slash instead of punch. There have even been mentions of vampires using their claws in the game (one of the npc's in castle volkihar mentions it at least). It'd also help with Argonians and Khajiits, because the way i'm looking at it, they're sort of just punching with their hands open instead of really slashing, aren't they? Anyway, if there is a mod out there that could replace the unarmed animations with WW/VL claw attacks, I'd appreciate being pointed towards it. If there's not, consider it a request!

I just downloaded Dawnguard for the pc and everything was going fine. A little ways in, I added a mod from Skyrim Nexus to fix the Thieves Guild Hood for vampires bug. After I installed it via NMM, I got back on Skyrim and it looks like Dawnguard was completely uninstalled or something. When I went to my save file, It gave me the message that certain content had been taken out or whatever, just like it does when you uninstall a mod. I'm now sure it was talking about dawnguard itself, because everything that dawnguard added was gone. Vampire armor, Vampire Lord power, Serana, everything. I'm not even a vampire anymore. I uninstalled the TG Hood mod to see if that somehow did it, and its still uninstalled. Does anybody know how to fix this, or at least reinstall it?
