  1. Heres a truck i have been fiddleing with when im not working on Mysterious Crawler http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/8058/truck2mq.jpg and the ute http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/1071/nvpickup01.jpg I believe i will be sticking iwth the truck as the first vehicle. It will be textured to look like scrap welded together
  2. the save im using for testing is from before i used any mods installed. I have found the problem. The base characters were raiders and some had Very Aggressive selected. so by checking each one i changed all to Agressive and that seemed to fix the problem
  3. I have created a new faction, the Junkers, and copied atleast 7 npc bases to play my new faction. They all function properly as in, taking cover, firing at me, using idle markers and shooting each other? They shoot each other!!! They are all in the faction, all have "Help Friends and Allies" tagged. In the faction window in "Interfaction Relations" They are enemy against player and allies with themselves. I dont know whats going on. I have searched the net and nexus for a solution.   4. I was wondering if there is a way to create a portal system that doesn't require a door. Say using the Enclave Tech Pod to create a portal system similar to that of Oblivions Mage Portal.
  5. At the moment, i have it parked between Bonnie Springs and Red Rock Canyon. That big open space. Kuroitsune is working on navmeshing the interior then he is going to look into the missing textures. Me, im up to my neck making the lower interior levels (Trying to decide if i should make 3 seperate levels or one massive level), then im going to start studying a few mods that i should be able to incorporate, so the crawler wont be a giant footlocker on tracks. Plus i have had quite a few request bout making it move, so im looking into that too. Also it is now up in Uploaded Files Mysterious Crawler Official comment topic

  7. Between the crawler mod and this one, this one is loosing out. But i have been looking into how to make the vehicles move. XRE and J3X both have the same idea but exexyte them differently.   8. just wondering.... what style would best suit the Chryslus? Corvega http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/854/240pxintactcorvega.png Mad Max.... Supercharger hanging out of the bonnet and next to no armour. Death Race..... Heavly armoured front and lightly armoured back, twin linked guns on the bonnet. There the best 2 i can think of atm. If any1 can think of more that would fit in FO-NV let me know

  10. ah, if u mean the american car then.... no. i wanna keep this as lore friendly as possible. If u want/can make one that looks like it belongs in vanilla then i would be happt to give it a try.
  11. Thanks Now i have been busy (between doing this mod, looking after the kids etc etc), I have atleast finished most of the outside. I still need to retexture the tracks and suspenstion (not till tommoz) and i need to make the interior world spaces. But this is what i got so far. The crawler is located just outside Red Rock Canyon or some such. Nice open area with New Vegas just over the hill.   12. Thank you very much, that help a lot. Other than a few hitches, i have finally got the crawler in game for you to have a look at. This is just the main parts of the crawler.   13. I need some help with creating a new static record for a mod im working on. I can see the mesh components in NifSkope but i cant see them in GECK. I was told i need to create new static records for these meshes, but i have no idea how to do that. I have searched the net and it tells me nothing. I u can help i would be greatful

  15. thanks for the offer well i could use some help in finding why the base crawler components are hidden in geck. The hidden components are crawler base 1 (Squareish section) and 2 (Tracks, suspention etc), crawler tower and all the platforms. i will post pics of a dirty FO-NV version of the crawler later today. Happy hunting
