I have definitely confirmed that this mod is the problematic one by starting a new game where only this mod is active and observing the same incorrect behaviour, then doing the same with no mods at all and the behaviour is gone.

Seeing as "Posts" is disabled on the mod I tried contacting @BitterPast through a private message (and now also a mention on this forum thread)
