About leinadisthegreat

  1. Very cool, I'll check those out. yeah I figured it would be a huge hassle, but the payoff would be almost a new game. The dynamics would drastically change, and to me, that seems worth the hassle, you know?
  2. Then let's go for a mod that adds an Arkham City factor! Hell, I would love some better hand to hand combat in skyrim, if I could beat people's asses in skyrim like I do in batman, I would be in heaven
  3. I recently showed my best friend skyrim for the first time ever, and he's more of a FPS/God of War type, so I thought maybe he would appreciate the game. It took him an hour, but he got into it. Then I asked what he didn't like about it, as a curiosity. " I like how it's open world and s***, and I love how it looks, and you can definitely get into it. But....why the f*** can't I climb s***?" It hit me like a sloppy fish in the face. CLIMBING!!! We live in Skyrim, for crying out loud! Why can't we CLIMB things?? Aren't you tired of those moments when you have to go around some wall because it's too high to jump? "In Arkham City, I would just climb that s***." Indeed, my friend, we would. So why hasn't this been made into a simple mod? Whenever you run up to a high wall or something like that, you press E or A (keyboard or controller) and your character climbs it. Sure, I know what you're thinking. What about the animation for the climbing? Ok, I don't know much about modding, but my idea was to extract the ones used for Batman in Arkham City. Or copy them somehow, or base it off that. Imagine climbing on a ledge somewhere off a mountain with you moving slowly left or right to make it to the other side to get some stupid chest with 45 gold, grand soul gems x2, and some f***ing enchanted elven warhammer. So awesome. This would change the game forever
  4. Bazinga! Thank Hircine I finally found the culprit! I had to keep turning mods on and off and used the good ol process of elimination, it ended up being the Mountaintop Castle mod. Now I can find the modder and warn him of the issues so hopefully noone else has to go through this. THanks for all the help, and to all the new modders like me just remember to back up your entire skyrim folder, not just the data folder, after every new mod install :) Now to slay some dragons with my unicorn and magicka sabers. VICTORY OR SOVNGARDE!
  5. Ok, so I deleted (after backing it up) the data folder in dawnguard, then added my backup data folder that I had backed up way before the issues started. I then added some of the newer mods that I used yesterday, all of which are simple esp or bsa files, and the issues persist. Bow is invisible, and to make things worse, my carry weight is stuck permanently at 888 after I got rid of all my gear. this is not a big deal because i play in god mode all the time, but it's driving me bonkers, what the hell is going on here?
  6. I'll try this now, I never thought about how it could mess up my character if it was still equipped. Also, for some reason all of my chests and belongings don't have my name on them. instead of "Riddick's Chest" it just says "'s Chest" wonder if that has anything to do with the issue?
  7. That's the way I've been doing it, but tonight out of nowhere my Daedric bow became invisible. I started turning off mods to see if that was the problem, none of them seemed to be it. My glass sword and elven bow are invisible as well. I have a backup of my main skyrim folder (thank god for that) but before I go remodding and moving save files I want to know if there's an easier route. I checked the textures, scripts, meshes and everything was pretty much there, I just deleted some leftover folders from mods I deleted. But thats about it. For now I just want to play and ignore the issue, but it's going to bug me in the back of my head, so if anybody has any coolio ideas I would really appreciate it
  8. I'm down for anything, just contact me on the nexus and let me know what you need done
  9. Ok, guys. We all know we've come across this issue before but nobody is proactively doing much about it. Sure, some modders out there are talented and nice enough to add their own voice overs to a new NPC in a mod they created, but this is not always the case. You download a mod, it's got great content, the modder put in all this hard work into a new environment and quests, but the NPCs are all mutes. I want to help change that. I figured since I'm new to the skyrimnexus and all I do is download mods all the time, the least I could do is help out any way I can. I have no idea how to mod, but I am a professional producer and songwriter, as well as vocalist. I am also an actor in training, and I have an entire top of the line studio for recording quality audio takes for NPC vocals. I can do different voices and accents, and with the power of Pro Tools I can make my voice change to different timbres, so it can sound like different people, male or female. I can also make music scores to add ambiance to a new environment you made, so the music is entirely new and original instead of some file you found online. I'll be happy to do this all for free, and want nothing more than to help. If any modders out there are looking for someone to make some voices for your NPCs, please let me know! Send me the dialog, we can share notes on the process or whatever works for you. I just want these badass mods to have some voices!
