  1. ahh yes, thanks for that link. I'll get to work!
  2. a BAT file isn't a bad idea, but getting something like that 'if' statement I mentioned before is really the beginning of a bigger mod, so I'd to get some syntax help. Even a link to some good code could work for me.
  3. ahh, I was afraid of that (as I seemed to find that in my searching). Ok, what about doing some 'if' statements? Like "if HP is > 10% then kneel & begin regen of HP without taking damage"? is that too much to ask? lol I have a feeling that would be a pretty long script, but I'd really like to find the elements to do it!
  4. I'm looking to use some script to use a modified version of Toggle Immortal Mode, from the console command. What I want, is for the player to be immortal, to a degree. Once under 10% or 5% health, I want them to kneel down, like the unkillable followers. Have his health regen to a certain percentage (50%?) and then stand up. However During the "kneel down" phase, increase decapitation chances to 90%, and make decapitation the only way the player dies. However this gets implemented, I'm going to use it on the player and baddies alike (think: Bosses), so if it's an enchanted ring or invisible item or something, that's fine.
  5. Working on my first mod, so thought I'd do something simple. I'm getting pretty familiar with using the console commands for stuff I need (adding items and keeping myself alive), but every time I exit/load I have to turn toggles back on (what a hassle, right? ;)). So I thought this would be perfect for my first mod. The bones of it are: I want to put the console command of "TIM" (Toggle IMmortal) onto a ring. This way, with that ring equipped, I don't have to worry about bringing up the console for anything. I'm simply duplicating a vanilla ring, and just modifying the information so the 'script' is the only thing I need help with. I realize what I'm doing isn't THAT big of a deal or important, but it's my first mod and it will, hopefully, allow to build up for a much larger mod, that's directly related, in the future. Thanks in advance for the help!
  6. Wow, I tried the reinstall, theblackronin, before and no go. But I guess when i uninstalled last time it ACTUALLY worked, cuz i just reinstalled and everything went smoothly and the list is there just as I wanted it to be! lol. So thanks. I guess I just had a brain fart when I didn't do/get a clean uninstall :\. Anyways, thx guys!!
  7. I'm sorry, I should have stated I did try the Nexus Mod Manager, but that doesn't work. The files will be "check off" on the 2nd tab, but in the first tab (the 'load order tab') it only lists what I have installed from the Steam community.
  8. The Steam Mods work perfectly. However, I can't seem to get any mod from the Nexus community to work? Is there a workaround, perhaps DL manually and put it into a folder, or some way to fix this? Thanks.
  9. I just reinstalled Skyrim and Steam, but now I'm getting an issue with any Nexus Mods. In the NMM it lists 'Skyrim' and 'Update' in the load list, as well as any 'official' mods from/thru Steam, but any Nexus mod I download won't show up in the list. I uninstalled NMM and then reinstalled and still no change. Any fix or workaround? The mods on Nexus are quite awesome and I'd prefer not to miss out! :)
  10. Thanks D for the info. Good idea Brasher, but I've been asking around and sadly all my gamer friends are console based or RTS based, so no PC Skyrim's out there :(. Perhaps 1 last question, and ditch effort: are there any good videos that really show you what it's like to try out the CK? I'm sure there's tutorials, and I'll check those out, but are there any you recommend? Or, and this is a stretch, would anyone be willing to make a video showing the CK to someone like me who, basically, would need to buy the CK?
  11. I'm sure this is a dumb question, but do we need to have Skyrim in order to have the Skyrim CK? No chance in just being able to make mods without the $60 purchase, eh? :\ For those that are REALLY curious. I'm asking because I donno how well I'll be at mods, so before I purchase my PC copy of Skyrim I'd like to simply see what modding is like and make a purchase afterwards. Obviously if I wanted to publish anything, I'd assume the price as that's just fair. :)
  12. anyone know, or can find, a mod/cheat that let's me redo creating my character WITHOUT affecting stats and levels gained? I know the 'sexchange' command, but wondering if there's a way to change race, and even all the other little details like hair/eyes/etc...basically like the character creation :). Thanks.
