  1. I play Fallout 4 on the PC/Steam and the UI is SO counter intuitive because it uses a console setup and is completely NOT optimized for Keyboard/Mouse usage, it's so bad! If someone could make a mod to polish all this out that would be great! Some windows require you to press ESC, or TAB, or ENTER to escape them while at the same time they may require TAB or ENTER to open. It's so incohesive I keep clicking the wrong buttons. I know I could just 'rebind' some stuff but I would much rather have one button that will exit me out of or cancel stuff and one button to open or approve of stuff with the exception of opening Pip-Boy initially. Secondly, having to use arrow keys to navigate the workbench is also annoying, a UI overhaul with a list of categories to choose from rather than going up and down might be more oversee-able and useful. Then finally, when using a computer and you go 'back' a page to click on another 'link' the selection is sort of stuck? and you need to move around before you can select stuff. Being able to scrap junk while in inventory rather than having to drop it (unless I'm blind which is certainly a possibility with how hard it is to find anything on this mess, but I can't see a way to do it otherwise). If there are ways to fix all this without a mod please let me know, I mean, I 'think' I will be able to rebind some stuff but it would be so much easier to just whack on a mod and navigation = fixed. I feel Bethesda dropped the ball on this big time (the rest of the game is great though).
  2. Problem Description: I was unable to play Fallout 3 goty prior to this issue because it would crash on new/saved game load. The only way I've found to fix it was to rename the Data/Music folder. Since doing that the game rarely crashes and runs mostly fine even with mods. My issue now is that whenever I enable any radio channel the game will freeze up. My mouse cursor disappears and I can only shut it down using ctrl+alt+del. Oddly enough... I can occasionally get the radio to work but then it will inevitably crash after a short while. For example I turned on Galaxy News Radio and Three Dog was talking and as he said he was about to play some music the radio suddenly went dead silent. When I went to disable the radio my game froze again. Some other odd things are that radios in-world work fine and I can also hear in-game sounds while it's frozen. Does anyone know how to fix it so the radio works? I always really enjoyed listening to GNR while playing. If anyone knows a way to fix this that I haven't tried yet it would be greatly appreciated. What I've tried to fix it: Changing Music folder name (This was required to even play the game).Changing the bUseThreadedAI and iNumHWThreads in the Documents Fallout3 folder (FALLOUT.INI).Re-installing with .NET 3.1 disabled.Compatibility for XP and VistaRun as AdministratorUsing d3d9.dll (Also tried with SweetFX and ENB)Assigning .ogg and .mp3 files to be run by Windows Media PlayerUsing the unofficial fo3 patchDisabling Games for Windows LiveDisabling Second MonitorDisabling visual themes & desktop compositionMy Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64b Nvidia GTX 660 i7 2600k Quad Core 3.4GHz 8GB Ram Dual monitors
