So after changing the settings in the Windows Defender Security Center to whatever the website wanted me to do, my game just stopped working. I mean FalloutNV just wouldn't run. You try to play it, nothing happens. Just nothing. So after removing these settings, I could play Fallout again. But the stutter problem still persists. Is there any known solution that could fix this problem? To enable bhookCriticalSections? If yes, let me know. -TheGermanGuy-

#3 dubiousintent Thank you so muchhhhhhh! The Stutter Remover was the problem. Do you actually know why it was causing my game to crash? I had to turn off the bHookCriticalSections setting to zero for the fix to work.

Hello my fellow Fallout brothers! Fallout New Vegas just doesn't want to work the way I want it to and I need your help. I know that this topic IS NOT anything new or special for you guys but this doesn't change the fact that I am in need of help. You guys need to share your modding wisdom with me. Let's just cut to the chase and begin. I don't have a whole lot of mods installed and to be honest I don't see any compatibility issues with them. (But that's just me) My FalloutNV.exe Version is: 1.4.0.525 list of mods: NVAC New Vegas Anti Crash Perk Every Level Sprint Mod CASM with MCM Fallout Character Overhaul UIO MTUI The Mod Configuration Menu JIP LN NVSE Plugin Load order: FalloutNV.esm DeadMoney.esm HonestHearts.esm OldWorldBlues.esm LonesomeRoad.esm GunRunnersArsenal.esm ClassicPack.esm MercenaryPack.esm TribalPack.esm CaravanPack.esm FCOMaster.esm FCO - NPC Changes.esp FCO - OHSB NPC Edits.esp FalloutNV_lang.esp SprintMod.esp TheModConfigurationMenu.esp CASM with MCM.esp PerkEveryLevel.esp As you can see, not very much is there. I have no idea why it crashes every time (not on Startup, about 10 Mins in game) I understand that Modding can and is extremely finicky but everybody has to learn it somehow amirite?
