Katy, just to give you an update, I followed your advice yesterday as promised and it worked like a charm!! MO automatically imported my saves, I guess, since when I ran it, they were all there with all the .esp files that I had missing. I installed all of the necessary ones for the save to work again and today, for the first time since November-ish, I continued adventuring with my Dunmer! She's back in action and I couldn't thank you enough! Now time to put her through these quest mods that I never got around to doing! Ciscoloco, out.

Katy, Thank you SO much for your great reply. I honestly did not expect a response of such caliber, much less to expect good news! I put so much time into my Dunmer that my heart broke when the save files became unstable, so I'm REALLY happy to hear this. I have been out for a while and do plan on getting back into modding, so I will take your advice and run with it. I have heard of Mod Organizer, although I never really put much thought into trying it for some reason. Today will be the day, however, especially with the features that you've just described to me. Thanks again, Katy. I appreciate this more than you will probably even know!

Good afternoon, Nexus. It has been nearly two months since I've touched Skyrim, but recently, I got the urge to play again, especially after seeing some new quest mods that MxR covered in some of his videos. I wasn't surprised that there were an ass-load of updates for NMM, but one of the said updates required me to reinstall all of my mods again. Now I don't know if I screwed something up or what, but for some reason I had to reactivate them manually one-by-one...now the problem is that my memory is notoriously bad and after I assumed I was done, my multiple save files of my lv.79 Dunmer are wonky. My question is whether there is a way to see what mods were activated in any particular save file? That would make it easy for me to just go through and target each one required for those saves to work properly. I have roughly ~15-20 saves of that character but I do still realize that I could have done things differently to prevent this from happening (such as making those saves prior to installing each mod), so I'm not looking for any sympathy or anything like that. I just want to know, as aforementioned, whether or not there is some way to see the mods I had active "inside" of a save so I can salvage my character. Thank you, gracias, and danke!

Greetings Nexus, I have a quick question after digging around the net a bit for a solution to the CTDs I'm getting more and more frequently whenever I open my map in-game. I found said solution here on the Nexus from back in DEC 2011. In it, the OP states; "these lines I added to skyrim.ini [screenSplatter] bBloodSplatterEnabled=0 I don't know why this would cause the map/game to crash, but removing these lines solved the problem. Took me an hour to find that out... Hope this can help others, or maybe it just crashes for me " Now, I am no expert at messing with the ini file and the mere thought of changing something I am not supposed to makes me really uncomfortable, so these are the questions I have concerning this proposed solution; What exactly does inputting those lines into the ini do? I assume it disables blood splatter and that makes me sad. I like my Enhanced Blood Textures blood splatter. The OP states that they do not know why this is responsible for making the game CTD upon opening the map but at the same time, it has been three years. Is there anyone that has since discovered the reason as to why the game crashes when opening the map? Or are there far too many variables to even consider pin-pointing a culprit? Are there any adverse effects to adding lines like these to the ini file? Here are my PC specs as recommended by the forum's sticky, I hope it helps. It's not a very good build compared to many of the users here on Nexus, so I hope that's not the underlying cause to many of my Skyrim woes. Hello everyone, I'm having a bit of an issue with warpaint textures. First off, I want to make it clear that I am using Expired's RaceMenu and custom tattoo mods along with that (THEHAG's and Desufire's tattoos). Anyway, whenever I select a certain warpaint/face tattoo and choose black as its color, the color show up as brown instead. On top of that, some of the warpaints selected turn my "equipped" tattoos a shade of blue-green. The blue-green tint can be dispelled by un-equipping and re-equipping pieces of armor, however, the warpaint still retains its brown color. I've added pictures for reference; http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff419/Ciscoloco86/Warpaintissues_zps9ca7a98c.png This next photo is just a courtesy to show that I indeed chose black as my tattoo's color and that the "brown face-tat" bug pertains to all available warpaints/tats. http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff419/Ciscoloco86/2013-10-04_00005_zps5ffe9774.jpg I tried uninstalling my tattoo mods and the issues still persists. I'm not sure what could have caused the problem at this point. Is there anyone, by chance, that has encountered this bug before and was able to fix it before I go through the painful process of disabling my mods, one-by-one, to see which one is the culprit? Cheers!

Casting Animation while moving is non-existent.

**PROBLEM SOLVED!** For anyone who was having this issue-- A fellow Nexus member, Zairen, apparently once had the same issue I was having and was generous enough to share the fix with the community. The issue stemmed from using a custom skeleton (in my case, I am using XPMS). The fix was simple and painless. All I had to do was run the FNIS executable and make sure I had "SKELETON arm fix" checked under the patches section. Here is the section that deals with issue on FNIS's lengthy description page (which he was kind enough to quote as well); SKELETON arm fix: this change (originally introduced by mirap for CHSBHC) fixes arm animation glitches in many animations, caused by the additional bones in custom skeletons. This patch checks for the actually installed skeletons (female and male), and applies skeleton specific modifications to the behavior files.Note: the generator currently recognizes the CHSBHC, XPMS, and TBBP skeletons, but will also work for all complete skeleton definitions (with both .nif AND .hkx files). However, skeletons with INCOMPLETE definition (no .hkx files) like "The skeleton of female models" or "Custom Skeleton Replacer" CANNOT be properly patched. **Many THANKS to Purr4me, who attempted to help me to the best of his/her ability even though he did not have much information to go off of. -
Casting Animation while moving is non-existent.

Whew...okay here goes. I use the SKSE shortcut to run Skyrim and the windows that pop up are the standard small black box that initially pops up upon running the SKSE shortcut and then it fullscreens to the default Bethesda logo then the main menu. My television does serve as my monitor (55" Sony Bravia) and I'm running things at 60mhz. Just in case, my graphics card is an AMD Radeon HD 6800...Not the best, I know, but it runs everything like a champ. I'll do as you suggested and start tweaking the graphics setting and running the game to see if I can weed something out. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for your willingness to help, Purr4me. I really appreciate it. It's fairly frustrating that all the animations worked smoothly and as intended up until a few days ago. I just noticed yesterday that the "casting while moving" animation is not the only animation to have...disappeared, for lack of a better word. The "casting while crouching" animation is also non-existent and casts spells seemingly out of nowhere as well. Anyway, I'll run those tests as soon as possible and will get back with you. Thanks again. -

Thanks for the quick reply, Purr4me. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by your question and I apologize for that, but I will try to answer it to the best of my ability and if you need anymore information, then just let me know. I have the graphics set on Ultra on Skyrim, my OS resolution is set at 1920x1080. I have no clue as to what my Steam Overlay is set as, what should it be? -
Hey guys, I'm having an issue with my character's animation. I can cast spells while standing still and the vanilla animations kick in like normal, however, when I am casting while moving around (avoiding enemy arrows, spells, etc.) my character seems to cast them with no frames of animation what-so-ever. It seems as though the spells are coming out of thin air and I find this to be pretty distracting and immersion-breaking. I have a s#*!-load of saves and reverting back to every one of them yields the same result. I looked at the mods that I have installed that effect animation and the only ones that I do have are the following; -Casual bow animations -Female facial animation -Fores New Idles in Skyrim (FNIS) -Sit animation (Pose 1) -XP32 Maximum Skeleton (XPMS) Has anyone every had this happen before and if so, is there a fix that doesn't include reverting to a complete vanilla Skyrim or starting a new game?
