  1. Hah! I found the problem  Twas a modified version of "UF3P\WhiskeyBottle02full.nif" (the "full" scotch bottle model provided by UF3P) that I'd recently made that was causing Uptown such violent fits for some unimaginable reason. But without "Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm" in the load order, see, the game would use the default scotch bottle model, and so Uptown wouldn't crash. My Radish.esp, having overriden the UF3P version of Scotch to tweak its weight, also had "UF3P\WhiskeyBottle02full.nif" set as the model to use, and so would make Uptown crash. The modified model file in question worked fine everywhere else in the game, though, and even works in Uptown now that I just opened it in Nifskope and re-saved it with Auto-Sanitize on. Weird.
  2. Using the following mod list... Fallout3.esm Anchorage.esm ThePitt.esm BrokenSteel.esm PointLookout.esm Zeta.esm Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm...if I try to enter Uptown – through either of its 2 entrances – or load a save that is already in Uptown, the game crashes with this typically-unhelpful error message: Removing "Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm" from the mod list eliminates this problem (and adding "Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - The Pitt.esp" to the mod list does not change anything either way). If it were just this one plugin that caused the problem there wouldn't be an issue, but another plugin file of my own making (Radish.esp), filled with various modifications that I by-now consider essential to playing the game, also causes this exact same crash behavior. I mention the UF3P plugin first because it's something other people actually have; some of whom may have had this Uptown-crash problem with it, and maybe even found the cause, and could tell me what it is so I can look for the same problem in my Radish.esp and fix it  Although, I've played all the way through The Pitt once before with all UF3P plugins enabled without issue, so... none of this makes sense! http://home.comcast.net/~psiradish/emoticon/drama.gif
