  1. Dear community,

     

    I am working on a project of my own and I´m using cut meshes that suit there purpose and are kind of vital for my landscape.

    The problem is, that the collision geometry is still in its original state, creating invisible collisionplanes, making parts inaccessible.

     

    Is there someone who knows how to corret the collision geometry or can provide me with contacts or guids of how to do it?

    Would really appreciate help there!

  2. Dear beloved modding community,

     

    I am currently working on a story mod, introducing new playable content/worldspaces/quest. In the end the mod is supposed to give the player a couple of hours to play and explore. But the big problem I´ve encountered is the size of the mod. With the time I can spend modding right now there will be no end to a project that big. So I am curious wether someone is eager to participate or knows where my voice can be heard by other modders.

     

    What I need would be modders who:

     

    * can script

    * can change/create new .nifs

    * are skilled texture-artists

     

    What I would provide:

     

    * A tense story taking place on an (till now unknown [to ensure freedom of modders imagination]) fairly big island north-west of Hammerfell inhabited by Redguards and an old nordic Tribe: Political struggles on an parted island, a kingdom not part of the empire struck by subtle political take-over through a corrupt branch of the East Empire Company, conflicts of the past boiling up again and bringing the player into several situations where he has to choose a way (influencing the go of the story)

    * The base and hardly in develop landscapes and cells, ideas for new weapon/armor/enemies etc., brilliant concepts for regions and scenes and a high motivation to continue the development

    * openess for every new idea or changes of already existing content

     

     

    So if someone is interested in taking part or can give me some advise where/how to find other modders, you might be highly welcome! :wink:

    * High map of the main worldspace:

    * Island of Riym:

    Size - approx 2.5 x Solstheim

    Island known since last century of the 2E. Backroundstory already coceptualized.

    North-western Area populated by Nords

    Mainland and eastern part populated mainly by redguards (imigrated from Hammerfell in second era)

    Main city: Nighthold (the M-like structure in the middle of the island), including the Nightguard army and royal structures

     

    * Only scenic-modding and armor-setup done so far.

  3. Well u need the texture and .dds and _n.dds

    If u have this:

    1. Go to 'object window' -> 'miscellaneous' -> 'textureset'

    2. Create a new texture set and name it

    3. Add the normal .dds under 'diffuse'

    4. Add the _n.dds under 'normal/gloss' and save the set

    5. Go to 'object window' -> 'miscellaneous' -> 'LandTexture'

    6. create a New land texture and name it

    7. Add the new texture set to the land texture

    8. Open the landscape editing and select your new landscape texture

    9. set Maximum Opacity to something around 25/50 and draw via rightclik around the edge of the riverbed.

  4. If you start the game with mods that heavily change the game (such as perk overhauls/mechanic changes etc.) the currents character save depend on the content. By just disabling the mod and loading the savegame it tries to load all the stuff out of the mods but is not able to so the game crashes. This doesn´t result out of steamworkshop use nor anything u did wrong - it´s just the way modding works. In order to play that champ u need to run most mods it is build on or have to start up new.

  5. Well I kind of have a hard time getting my retex of the damn Imperial Light Gauntlets running. For the mod I´m workin on I made a simple retex of the Imperial Cuirass/Boots/Gauntlets and the other two are working just fine. Only the Gauntles (and just u know also the Imperial Helmet) dont show in the amor-editing and are displayed the normal way in the ck-render window. I just don´t know why.

     

    Did someone face a similar problem and can help me on that point? (Further info on demand)

  6. Well usually you edit things in an active esp. So reinstalling the ck wont do anything. In what way did u edit the dummy? Anything about the mesh? Then u should try deleting that part of the esp with tesnip for example.

  7. Hello there community,

     

    I´m currently working on a bigger project and I am in need of some retextures/texturechanges for the mod. It will be a quite big mod including 4 smal towns located on a new worldspace. Therefore I need some new guardoutfits, flags, shields and much more. If there is someone dedicated to quality-retextures who would like to share his/her skills I would highly appreciate it!
