yeah, that's what I meant xd. anyway the problem was solved, for the ini files it was caused by steam cloud saves reseting the files, and for the game crash it was a specific variant animation of the mod thompson day of infamy. Thank you so much for your help bro much appreciated.

No none of the mods should alter the ini files, as for archive invalidation I add these lines to the custom file bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal="Empty"

Hello, no missing dependencies I have checked using Vortex. Something weird I noticed though, I have found the reason of the crash; it's the fallout folder in "My Documents" deleting it starts the game no problem. but restarting the game causes the same problem and I have to delete it again.

My game crashes when installing ANY mod no matter what it is, even if it's ONE mod. I have the steam version all dlcs, latest version or downgraded to 10.163 doesn't matter. F4SE is installed, it crashes to desktop without any errors right after the intro. Any ideas on how to fix? I even re-installed windows but it still wouldn't work. thank you
