  1. So, I want to make it so when I put a soldier through Psi training, they're guaranteed to be Gifted. I have a save file active with the Psi Labs unlocked. I have Enemy Within installed with all DLC's. I've tried using Sir_toejam's mod, which just tells me the files can't be found. I've tried editing the Defaultgamecore.ini file, but doing so appears to yield no changes in Enemy Within (I haven't tested Enemy Unknown because I don't have a save file on that anymore because Enemy Within). I feel like I'm doing something wrong here. Here's what I edited the lines in the defaultgamecore.ini to. PSI_GIFT_CHANCE=0.1 PSI_TEST_LIMIT=5 PSI_TRAINING_HOURS=24 PSI_NUM_TRAINING_SLOTS=4 Doing this yields no changes to anything it supposedly edits. The hours aren't reduced to one day, I don't get an extra slot, so on... What gives? Edit: The reason I want a psychic soldier so bad is because I... GUESS the game has this weird programming, where if you save during a soldier's testing then the test is guaranteed to fail if you reload? Just that a soldier's test was positive once, and then I reloaded when one of my favorite soldiers died, and he has never passed again.
  2. Actually here's a simple newbie-friendly guide from Beth on how to customize items in the CK: http://www.creationkit.com/Bethesda_Tutorial_Customizing_Weapons_%26_Armor Just scroll down a bit - it's under Armors -> Type. Hope this helps! Thanks. Might as well start bashing my head in now, but I'll give it a shot. If I can start figuring it out, maybe I can become a modder for Mage-oriented gear? Ha, I shouldn't get my hopes up, lol. Still, should give it a shot. Thanks again.
  3. I'm pretty sure the Immersive Weapons mod has something aesthetically similar in there.
  4. I guess no one's gonna do this. Oh well... Looks like I'll have to conform to the Warrior Badass Viking thing.
  5. I have no idea how to use the Creation Kit, or, well... Anything mod-related. Otherwise I'd take a crack at this myself.
  6. This guy's on the right track. Maybe a mod that includes all three color variations of the Fable Will-User's robes? Who knows, everyone that can make a decent mod is focused on "ROAR WARRIOR BADASS VIKING ARMOR".
  7. Judging by the sheer lack of decent lore-friendly-esque robes, I would be more than happy with even those clothes. I just want something that isn't so eye gouging as the vanilla stuff. Changing the colors does nothing for me, so things like AA are nothing to me.
  8. Robes are the main feature of being a Mage. Some Clothes look good, but they need to be enchanted to be effective for a Mage. I've checked out Way of the Monk, it just adds vanilla robes with enchants that suit the mod's purposes. I don't mind that, but I'm not Unarmed. I'm a Mage. Actualize Apparel is... Well, it's the opposite of what I'm after. It allows crafting of a bunch of vanilla outfits as well as recolors of most of the outfits, nothing that WORKS for what I have in mind.
  9. Let's get this out of the way: I am SICK, and TIRED, and FRUSTRATED of all the poor-effort mods to add "New" and "Unique" robes to Skyrim. I am SICK, and TIRED, and FRUSTRATED at the amount of mods that are... A) Reskins of Psijic Robes B) Greybeard Robes with unique (Read: OP) enchantments. C) Recolors of the vanilla College Robes. D) Reskins of the Shrouded Robes. E) ALL OF THE ABOVE. I want something truly unique. Truly new. Something with effort put into it. If I knew how to build meshes and textures, I'd do it myself! I've seen TONS of awesomely put-together armors and weapons, but they're always for warriors or rogues/thieves. There's no love for magi, and it makes me very, very sad. There's a mod called "Well Dressed Mage" that is VERY CLOSE to what I'm looking for: Something with a little effort, that looks more than decent. It's got baggy leggings, some variants have awesome sleeves, and the mantles are just... Yes. But the lack of shirts in it is why I have an issue with it. If we could get THAT kind of look and effort with a set of robes, as well as it covering some more skin at the same time, I will fall in love with the modder that shows me this.
